Juno DVDJuno hits DVD on April 15th 2008, and the special edition DVD features 11 deleted scenes.

Fox Searchlight has released an advance look at one of those scenes. “Cafe Triste” features Juno (Ellen Page) performing a one man show at a little cafe with best friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby) and always-awkward former semi-boyfriend Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera) in attendance.

It should be noted that the color timing and audio was never finalized, which is typical of most deleted scenes released on DVD. Enjoy.

You can preorder the two-disc Juno Special Edition on Amazon.com for $22.99 (34% off the $34.98 retail price).

ok, ive been ripping on all the /film juno ass kissing, but i gotta admit, that scene was funny as hell! an 8 minute song about danny trejo!?!? thats funny stuff!

Brilliant! I’m only disappointed we didn’t get to hear the epic “Ballad of Danny Trejo.” Someone should actually write that song, BTW.

Oh, and Ellen Page is hot.

    basically what orange cinema said.

i have yet to see this film and i honestly didn’t get what all the hubbub was about until just watching that scene. i mean i love micheal cera from arrested development and all, but yeah.. wow. can’t wait to see this.

Haha… dudes, hate to disappoint you but Ellen Page is not into your gender.

    Ellen Page: Lesbo.

jojo & jimbo it is unfortunate to see such comments. don’t believe everything you hear in media. especially one of the biggest buzz topics of the moment. epage is a self admitted tomboy, but as for her personal life…let her tell you personally or drop it. i’ve been a fan of ellen since marion bridge, and happen to recall more than 1 interview of her gossiping about how ‘hot’ certain ‘boys’ are. she just laughs people like you off anyway, so whatever.. ellen page is mine. someday!

It’s a “buzz topic”? I heard it a while ago from a PA on The Tracy Fragments, actually. But whatever, people can and will believe whatever they want. Good luck!

man this scene was funnier than anything in the actual movie, to be honest. i hated the movie but i actually liked this scene…..so, what? maybe all the deleted scenes could be cut together to make a better movie or something?

    I know what I won’t be buying!

Just when I thought I couldn’t hate Juno any more. What an awful scene. Ellen Page annoys with the worst of them.

This actually makes the movie we saw make more sense! Something told me, at the end - as much as I loved it anyway, by the way - that the ending wasn’t really convincing re. the two’s final get-together (I’ve loved the actual song since the Moldy Peaches first brought it out, and I go all geeky for both Ellen Page and Cera, so I didn’t think of much else back then, but what the heck…).

It didn’t seem really believable that, all along, there had been tension between them or whatnot as was implied in the film - we hadn’t really seen anything of the sort, we just imagined it in an ‘if you say so’ kind of way. So, yes, the scene was missing indeed, if you ask me. Otherwise we’d have wondered, even if it was for a second, why Juno didn’t even try it on with Mark or something, sad-case-as-she-was…

And, oh yes, Danny Trejo for 8 minutes? Good stuff! (*chortle*) I’d have kept this scene, if it was my choice!
