The second movie trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will hit the web later this week. When? We’re not exactly sure. I called a couple of my Paramount sources and couldn’t get a definite date and time. One thing we do know is that Paramount will be releasing the new trailer as a widget which can be blogged, myspaced, facebooked…etc Basically, they want this trailer to explode across the interwebs. So keep checking back throughout the week.

There won´t be a trailer this week, Empire confirmed with Lucasfilm.
Sorry to disappoint, but we’ve checked with Lucasfilm and the Reuters story has its facts wrong. The next look at Crystal Skull is still a little while away. But, hey, the next Empire, out next week, will have tons of Indy IV coverage to keep you sated in the mean time. Shameless plug over.

It better be better than the last trailer…. Cuz I hated it.
All the money this film will make will be from its built in audience. I might be alone here… but the last trailer looked campy/stupid.

I have to say, I wasn’t a massive fan of Raiders or Temple. I felt they were flat, set-piece driven movies with no real character involvement. It just felt very cold.
The Last Crusade was a very watchable buddy movie, and it was a delight to see Ford and Sir Sean play off each other.
My hope is thatKingdom is more Crusade and less Raiders and Temple.
Judging by the father-son dynamic between Shia and Harrison, I think that may just be the case.
