Saturday Night Live ran a parody of There Will Be Blood last night. Daniel Plainview hosts a Food TV program called “I Drink Your Milkshake”. It looks like Milkshake has now gone mainstream. Anton from No Country for Old Men and our favorite pregnant 15-year old make appearances. Thanks to Derek for bringing us to our attention. Watch the clip below.

I laughed at that. Once. At the mockery of Juno-lingo.
Peter and SNL - epic fail.

“tell your wife to stop bothering me” that’s too funny!
February 24th, 2008 at 1:39 pm
This skit only reinforces my hatred of Juno.
God damn that movie.

Bill Hader’s impression was pretty good. Fred Armison’s was not. I enjoyed the actual drinking of the milkshake and I liked how they lampooned the sometimes awful Juno writing. Well done, though I wish Maya Rudolph had factored into the skit.

the moment that he takes out the big-ass straw was sooo good
I hated juno too.. kudos to Tina Fey
February 24th, 2008 at 4:14 pm
This is just despicable.
The SNL writers/actors/HACKS must be desperate for some attention, too bad you gave it to them.
February 24th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
I agree with Kirk. Now off to our tower where we’re going to plan how to spite the writers, CURSE YOU WRITERS! CURSE YOOOOUUUUUUU!
…also, I thought the skit was funny.
February 24th, 2008 at 5:27 pm
Bill Hader is awesome.
February 24th, 2008 at 11:13 pm
best sketch of the night
February 24th, 2008 at 11:25 pm
I thought SNL was great last night. Bill Hader knocked that impersonation out of the park.
February 25th, 2008 at 11:15 pm
Hah, the abandoning his child part was funny…
February 27th, 2008 at 9:44 am
Will Forte had the best line! Hader was kick ass too!
“Sir, please tell your wife to stop bothering me?”
February 28th, 2008 at 11:07 am
SO BRILLIANT. I watched it 5 times, laughing HYSTERICALLY each time. :) (And yeah, take THAT, Juno!)
March 10th, 2008 at 11:04 pm
THAT was the best sketch of the night? HAHA, long hair is for women! He was talkin’ ’bout drinkin’ milkshakes, imagine if he actually did it! So stupid and derivative.
And rickety, if that made you laugh hysterically, you may be losing your mind. Seek help.

this is one of the funniest snl skits ive seen in a long time. if you guys didnt see the movies theyre referencing then maybe thats why you dont get it? there will be blood was one of the worst films ive seen in a long time (though the acting was incredible)
March 30th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
lol i laughed so hard at the impersonation of Anton.
“What buisness is it of yours how i am feeling?…friendo…”
and the “i’ve abandoned my boy” part was really funny too.

This is pointless parody. Good impression of Plainview. Terrible impression of Chiguhr. The rest is absolute time-wasting crap. A group of fourth graders could have (and probably did) come up with this.
April 15th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
I love you Juno. Please be my bride.
April 17th, 2008 at 8:08 pm
It has fallen into the Epic Movie syndrome of referencing something without making fun of it.
SNL has jumped the shark.
April 23rd, 2008 at 8:56 pm
Bill Hader did an excellent job he’s my favorite actor on snl, anton chigurh was terribly misrepresented. i doubt the actor even saw no country or old men
May 6th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
captain awsome is a dick. that was awsome! bill hader, the straw, the milkshake, the old man. it was all awsome!
May 7th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
Brilliant, as always. I drink you milkshake!
I’m doing this sketch in a talent show! :)
May 31st, 2008 at 2:58 pm
Well, I laughed at the comments… :/
June 2nd, 2008 at 6:50 pm
Roflmao. I thought it was good, though the Chiguhr impression could have been a bit better. Overall it was great. My favorite was the “I abandoned my boy!…oh.” Nice.
June 24th, 2008 at 12:57 pm
Remember when SNL was funny? Anyone? It was, once, I swear. Before most of the current writers were born.
June 25th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
Haha. =]
“NOO! NOOO! I’ve abandoned my child!
I’ve abandoned my boy! My child! My…!
Oh, there is he is.”
This is hilarious!
I love SNL. (:
June 28th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
I fast forward to the “NOOO! I’VE ABANDONED MY CHIIILD!” part whenever I watch this. It gets me EVERY TIME!
