I Drink You Your Milkshake

Saturday Night Live ran a parody of There Will Be Blood last night. Daniel Plainview hosts a Food TV program called “I Drink Your Milkshake”. It looks like Milkshake has now gone mainstream. Anton from No Country for Old Men and our favorite pregnant 15-year old make appearances. Thanks to Derek for bringing us to our attention. Watch the clip below.

    Bill Hader's impression was pretty good. Fred Armison's was not. I enjoyed the actual drinking of the milkshake and I liked how they lampooned the sometimes awful Juno writing. Well done, though I wish Maya Rudolph had factored into the skit.

    this is one of the funniest snl skits ive seen in a long time. if you guys didnt see the movies theyre referencing then maybe thats why you dont get it? there will be blood was one of the worst films ive seen in a long time (though the acting was incredible)

    and the "i've abandoned my boy" part was really funny too.

    This is pointless parody. Good impression of Plainview. Terrible impression of Chiguhr. The rest is absolute time-wasting crap. A group of fourth graders could have (and probably did) come up with this.

    Bill Hader did an excellent job he's my favorite actor on snl, anton chigurh was terribly misrepresented. i doubt the actor even saw no country or old men

    I fast forward to the "NOOO! I'VE ABANDONED MY CHIIILD!" part whenever I watch this. It gets me EVERY TIME!
  • The Daniel Plainview impression was great, but the skit itself is awful. On the occasions that I come back to give them another shot, I keep coming back to the same conclusion: SNL skits just aren't funny.

    This was one of the better skits? This is what happens when you kill off Phil Hartman, Chris Farley et al. Now no good actors or writers want to be on SNL.They are afraid of the curse.
    A sketch on the curse of SNL would actually be funnier. Agree with SNL Vet. I used to watch religiously. Now it would take the threat of hell to get me to watch again.

    That is why when I saw people wearing shirts that had this phrase printed on it I thought you should only wear it to cruisy locations.

    Its a very cruisy catchphrase.

    well, snl is usually funny (dear sister, digital shorts, vinni vedecci, anything kristen wiig is on, etc.) but this is just sorta funny. Oh well, Bill Hader is hot, thats good enough for me.
