In yet another sign that the worlds of high end street wear and evolving Internet geekdom are merging, the UK clothing company, Addict, and Lucasfilm have collaborated on an exclusive line of three Star Wars tees. Featuring quality illustrations by the artist Mitch aka Mitchy Bwoy, the shirts are part of Addict’s Icons Series and feature individual original trilogy staples Boba Fett, Sandtrooper (above) and Biker Scout. Mitch’s work on the line exhibits a sharp color-by-numbers playfulness that nicely blends modern street art and the films’ numerous print offshoots.

On Saturday, March 8th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the actor Jeremy Bulloch, who played Boba Fett in Return of the Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back, will on hand at Addict’s London store for a signing, and three models will be present decked out in “full film accurate armor and weapons.” The invite is below. Full pics of the shirts, courtesy of Addict, after the jump.

Wow. It doesn’t matter who you get to design them. Star Wars shirts will never be cool.

It is awesome how some people just can’t pass off an opportunity to bash something that is fun, and perhaps, dare I say it, cool? The people who take the time to go out of their way to do that are probably the same people who think rap is the end all and be all of amazingness.

In the past year, I can recall ONE “Cool Stuff” post that was not Star Wars related. And that was Indiana Jones legos, so Lucas related. I love Star Wars as much as the next person, perhaps more, but having the “Cool Stuff” = “Star Wars Stuff”, all the time, is just lame. Just rename it already. There is nothing wrong with a dedicated “Star Wars Stuff” category. Fans everywhere would rejoice, including me, but the sham of naming it Cool Stuff instead is just lame. Label it what it is. Truth in advertising! lol.

    @ Hellen

I’ve done three, one was the Gotham Novelties package, the other was Colette’s awesome Planet of the Apes photo show/book, and now this. There was one for Silence of the Lambs recently.

You guys feel free to email us non Star Wars Cool Stuffs, ‘kay?

Now that Mickey’s on the front page as Cool Stuff, I stand corrected. But you should seriously think about adding a Star Wars stuff category. I know you’re a big fan, Peter’s a big fan, I’m a fan, lots of your readers are fans. So naturally the Cool Stuff gets swamped with Star Wars Stuff. It just seems an easier way than forcing you guys to tone down your SW love, to just expand into two categories. No big deal.

Please, let the record stand: this is my first Star Wars post.
