“Please, Oscar! Don’t!”
The Academy’s famously snide sib, The Razzies, announced its nominations for the worst movies, performances and direction of 2007 today. Leading the lepers is the already cultish Lindsay Lohan stripper-twin-Blue Velvet-for-Proactiv-set thriller I Know Who Killed Me with nine noms, including Worst Picture. And that seals it: I’m finally going to consider watching it stoned one day when I’m 70. Lohan actually scored two Worst Actress noms for playing twins. Cute. But there’s still no way it’s worse than The Number 23, which was excluded for Worst Picture. A travesty. Winners of the Little Naked Gold Man will be announced on February 23rd. Here are the major noms…where the hell is Who’s Your Caddy?
Worst Picture
Bratz - Lionsgate
Daddy Day Camp - Sony/Tri-Star/Revolution
I Know Who Killed Me - Tri-Star
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - Universal
Norbit - Dreamworks

Jim Carrey - The Number 23
Cuba Gooding, Jr. - Daddy Day Camp and Norbit

Worst Actress
Jessica Alba- Awake, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck
Four No-name Actresses - Bratz
Elisha Cuthbert - Captivity
Diane Keaton - Because I Said So
Lindsay Lohan (as Aubrey) - I Know Who Killed Me
Lindsay Lohan (as Dakota) - I Know Who Killed Me, Too
Worst Director
Dennis Dugan - I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry
Roland Joffe - Captivity
Brian Robbins - Norbit

Hey… “Chuck and Larry” was pretty good… atleast it had the Jessica Biel factor.
What about “Pathfinder”? … that was a turd.

Yea, Chuck and Larry was not all that bad….Pathfinder was bad

I agree. Chuck and Larry wasn’t that bad, I don’t understand why it’s considered as the worst movie. There were movies alot worse than this one.

@Santiago and CST
INPYC&L is widely considered by many in the Hollywood community to be culturally regressive.

you guys are gonna hang me for saying this…but IKWKM was somewhat entertaining! It was brutal, had some sex, and I know it wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst. I’m as harsh a critic as the next fan, but we rented this one night and made it all the way through. I hope I don’t get banned from /film for posting this!

@OC
You are not banned dude.
I think IKWKM was an easy out for the Razzies. I’ve heard the same type of “hey, wait, I sort of freaking like this” buzz from a few peeps, and I think Lohan should be excluded from the awards in general. She’s in a entirely different realm from something like Who’s Your Caddy?
Thx for admitting it.

The Number 23 was a lot better than you’re making it out to be. It was a really good film; engaging and enjoyable. Easily a 7-8 out of 10.
Chuck and Larry was also not nearly as bad as that. It may not have been shakespeare, but it was definitely watchable, despite having been far from original source material.
Compare these two to the far worse - Epic Movie, or Norbit. Or the merely mediocre films released in 2007. Chuck and Larry and 23 were far better than them.

I’ll add to the list of people saying Chuck & Larry wasn’t bad.
Besides Where’s My Caddy, here’s a list of other horrible movies that were snubbed… Music & Lyrics, Hannibal Rising, In the Land of Women, also a more controversial pic would have been 300, which I absolutely hated though could appreciate on some level for being something new, but what ridiculous acting! I think if you’re going to lampoon Nicolas Cage and Adam Sandler, you should think about how eye rollingly absurd the 300 cast was starting with Gerard Butler.

Hey! “I Know Who Killed Me” wasn’t that bad. I think it is better than you imagine. It was good! Watching Lindsay Lohan walk her way through this film, I was surprised she could actually ACT. Ya! Wonderful! I think if you have ever seen the movie than you already know, and if you haven’t, then you need to: dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=79304&ru=279
