Transformers 2 Delayed? Michael Bay Talks…

The Hollywood Reporter suggests in their year end film report that the sequel to Transformers has been pushed back from the Dreamworks-announced June 26th 2009 release date slot. Director Michael Bay posted a New Years greeting on his website, adding that “Transformers 2 will be coming soon.” I’m not sure if that is a confirmation, denial or something entirely unrelated. Bay also adds a little of his patented hype:

“The new robots are really really unique and there are a lot of them this time.”

It’s likely that the Writers Strike might puch the big giant transforming robots to 2010. We’ll keep you updated.

  • the movie was real good the second one will be better if ne one can do it its Bay.those that say it killes transformers need to get a life.would u rather them all look as stuped as they did back in the old school cartoon it would be so lame not that i didnt like the old cartoon.
