The Dark Knight: Two New Joker Posters

Why So Serious Dark Knight Joker Posters

I’m not really a fan of the “Why So Serious?” series of posters. I much preferred the painted International Dark Knight posters. Imagine if Drew Struzan made a poster for the film… now that would be awesome. These two new posters feature The Joker writing “Why So Serious?” on windows with blood or red paint (you decide). Check out these posters in full after the jump.

Update: Apparently the first poster (shown below) is actually a fan creation, and not a studio release.

I like the one with the blood smile. I wonder what happened with their viral marketing tho. It seems to have gone cold as of late and I don't know what else they could offer as rewards for solving stuff(short of a picture of Two Face) now that there's so much official material out.

  • first one is clearly a fake IMHO...

luv em both. The international ones were among the best I have EVER seen, and these two are creepy fun.

On the bottom one, it has a whole mess of flipped words, and it says

Has anyone else thought that (in the actual movie poster) that it's not actually blood or paint, but his make-up?

It seems to be that the smugdes aren't bloody but more like lip stick or whatever make-up it is. And with enough blood to make it that dark of a red would drip down the window...

It just never really struck me as blood after I really looked at it.
