A couple months ago it was revealed that SAW series production designer David Hackl had been hired to direct not one but two SAW sequels, possibly even back-to-back. Rumor had it that Lionsgate wanted to, for the first time in four years, take a year off from the SAW series. But I’m happy to report that is not true.
“If it’s Halloween, it must be Saw!”
Lionsgate is eyeing October 24th 2008 for the release of SAW V. SAW VI has also been marked on the calendar for October 30th, 2009. Let the games begin (again)!

Happy? I will never, ever support these movies. I just don’t see the point in going and watching people be tortured, no matter how cool or “redeeming” the rest of the storyline supposedly is.
December 5th, 2007 at 12:39 am
Oh, sorry for the rant. I don’t like horror in general. Like I said, I just don’t see the point. But still, sorry about the rant.
December 5th, 2007 at 1:07 am
The first one is competent…the rest just plain suck. I’m not seeing a change in the trend.
December 5th, 2007 at 1:38 am
Peter, do you really enjoy the Saws? Please say it ain’t so.
December 5th, 2007 at 2:05 am
I loved the first one despite the questionable acting, and the second one was fun but not necessarily “good”. I hated the third film, and didn’t even see the fourth (but if they had screened it for press, I would have). I promote the SAW films because at least they are better than the horrible [insert CW/WB star of the week] in a horror remake formula. However, I will agree that the current state of horror is pretty sad. The genre has so much more potential.
December 5th, 2007 at 10:19 am
They can call it “Saw V: Who gives a #*(&! “
December 5th, 2007 at 11:05 am
Nooooooooooooooooo!
December 5th, 2007 at 12:16 pm
One word … AWESOME !!!
A horror movie that actually makes you think … yes THINK !!!
December 5th, 2007 at 2:08 pm
You all don’t know what you are talking about. All of the Saw movies were awesome. I don’t care if you enjoy horror movies or not you have to support the effort these special effects people. They have done a hell of a job on all of these movies. Saw 4 was possibly the best yet and it answered some of the questions but also brought forward many more. Saw 3 was a little slow but all and all it was still good. Saw 2 was good as any horror movie on the market today. Saw 1 is really good but I like Saw 2 and Saw 4 better.
December 5th, 2007 at 5:39 pm
The rest don’t even resemble the first at all.
December 5th, 2007 at 8:23 pm
well i am a big saw fan because leave you want to see more and i love jig saw because he is so smart i have saw one 1 2 and3 on dvd because they are must have so keep up the good work .saw 4 is the fire i cant wait too see what jig saw have in store for us in saw 5&6.a true fan for life
December 5th, 2007 at 8:39 pm
Matt and Corey…do you remember ANYTHING that you learned in your fifth grade English class?
December 5th, 2007 at 11:39 pm
SAW II was the best movie, and had the best actor in the series, Donnie Wahlberg, no joke. SAW scared the crap out of me. I’m stopping at SAW II though. That’s enough torture/witty storytelling for me.
December 10th, 2007 at 8:43 am
I love these movies, I dont like 3, but I love the others
December 10th, 2007 at 10:19 am
I honestly think saw, well all the saw films are propebly the most well thought out films ever. so much detail seems to go into evey part of the film every ending is a new beging to another film. could go on for years…… Keep em Coming
December 16th, 2007 at 10:11 am
Bottom of the line is, you all have seen Saw, and most likely enjoyed the first one. With movies like Saw, there needs to be a sort of progression. Doing a 2 man show over and over again would bore enough people to cause a mass suicide. So they did the natural thing; enhanced the story to include more people, add plot twists, however predictable they may be, and so on. The movies were never meant to be thinkers, or even jump out of your seat scary. The movies were made to shock you, and to leave you feeling like a moron in the end for not figuring the stuff out yourself. While the sequels may not have that same shock to it that the first did, they still do the job overall. I look forward to the rest.
December 19th, 2007 at 8:14 pm
I am a saw fan I admit it, but like most fans I do know when a good idea has been taken to far and believe as a fan, that it will be in the studios best interst to stop why they are ahead. If the stories don’t make sense on saw 5 or 6, they will be losing a lot of money and a cool fan base. I loved all the saw movies so far, but I questioned the end of saw 4 because jigsaw has an autopsy and is cut at the same time on two different senses. Directors and producers beware, the fans are not stupid and if saw becomes like jason or freddy you would have failed the game, that I think the saw franchise never inrtended to do.
LISTEN TO THE FANS, PEACE
December 19th, 2007 at 10:34 pm
You must be one huge re-knob to think any of the Saw movies aren’t good…I mean,I absolutley hate horror movies but Saw actualy makes you think..it’s not pointless gore at all…It has always has a GREAT plot and somehow the end ALWAYS shocks you…(If you say it didnt your a liar). They were all good.I do agree that the acting has been questionable in certain parts but overall they do a great job.And at the same time it teaches a lesson. And it’s not just pointless torture…there is always a chance to escape..But anyway Saw is WONDERFUL!!!I will ALWAYS be a huge fan.
December 20th, 2007 at 9:22 am

love the saw films keep it coming
December 31st, 2007 at 5:02 pm
I am the type of person to stay as far away from horror movies as possible..and I’m not even someone who likes to watch CSI and shows like that…somehow my step dad caught me in an off mood to watch the first one…at quarter till midnight we rushed off to the nearest blockbuster to get 2 and 3 ….and stayed up till 4 in the morning watching them…I spent the night analyzing and analyzing everything possible…and searched desperatley online for the 4th ….finally after watching the 4th my obsession continues…it amazes me how at the end of every one I am left with my hands in the air saying “WHAT THE FUCK, ARE YOU SERIOUS??!!” Good job…I cannot wait till the 5th and 6th..I only hope they continue to keep us thinking!
January 1st, 2008 at 1:21 pm
I own the Saw Trilogy and i still have yet to see the 4th one, and altough i have my doubts about how well 4-6 will be i still can’t wait to see them, i love these movies because of the plot, the same reason why i love all the other movies i do.
I don’t go see a movie for gore, language, or most things put into a movie.
I may watch a movie because it looks ok and an actor i admire plays in it. But other than that the reason why i see a movie is because of a decent looking plot. A lot of recent thriller/horror/scary movies they are coming out with look like they have a decent plot.
I believe the Saw has a great plot. Also i love the fact that they come up with these traps that they do. if you want to talk to me about anything Saw related PLEASE email me at soulangel98@yahoo.com
January 2nd, 2008 at 1:13 pm
i think every movie of saw was awesome except part 3. i really hope they keep making more saw movies, since i’m a saw movie fan . i could really saw i’m #1 fan!!!!!!!
January 5th, 2008 at 2:02 pm

January 14th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
OMG i love the saw movies… the second one wasn’t all that great, but they are almost the best horror films i have watched….. i can not wait til Saw IV….. my sister and i are saw Junkies…..
January 20th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
Well im a fan of the saw movies but i dont always like the way they are planned out. Although they might not get planned out as well as other horror movies the contraptions that torture people are really cool and it makes me think about how long it took for the creators of this film to come up with every thing. Also one other thing that i did seem to pick up on…in the beginning of Saw 4 you see Jigsaw laying on the metal table and people digging through his stomach, and then in the end when every ones chasing each other you get brought back to the setting of Saw 3 in that little room where Jigsaw originaly died and hes still on that bed mean while he was getting disected in the beginning. EXPLAIN THAT TO ME PLEASE!!!
January 22nd, 2008 at 6:02 am
Saw is top - please do not stop making them. I love to see people being tortured on Halloween!!!! (It’s a film, it’s not real)
January 22nd, 2008 at 9:49 pm
SAW, what can I say I was always watching movies and knowing exactley what was going to happen until I rented Saw thrilled to be completley SHOCKED! The only movie I can remember ever seeing that didn’t have the same plot of ever other “”Horror movie made!I love suprises in movies things that aren’t expected if it were up to me they would make one every year! It really keeps you on the edge of your seat more thrilling that a roller coaster it’s a great ride and I hope they make at least more than the freddy and jason’s combined!!!!So I am a go for SAW 5 and 6 and so on If you need any extras for the movies I am avaliable!!!!!!
January 23rd, 2008 at 2:38 pm
OK not a fan of blood and guts but as long as i have my cushion to hand i think saw 1,2 and 4 were excellent i loved the back story in the fourth 1 and cant wait for a fifth the third was a bit of a let down but honestly peeps dont let that put you off seeing the fourth one cos its way better…tobin bell is an excellent actor and plays it so cool kinda creepy how cool tho
January 25th, 2008 at 10:26 am
I LOVE SAW….this shows the creativity of the writers/producers. NO ONE HAS COME close to the creative minds of the creators of all of the SAW movies. No one can figure out any of the movies until the end. I love movies that make you think…..if every movie was created the same..no one would watch them. Don’t you hate the same movie scenes…woman running in the forest scared to death…someone is chasing her….she falls…then it kills her. DUMB..DUMB..DUMB…This is what makes all the “SAWS” unique and different. I wish that I would meet the makers of the movie…hell I would even ask for a special part in it. I LOVE all of “SAW”. Kepp em coming..cause you will for sure make money off of me. I plan on buying all twelve..yes..the rumor is that they are going to keep going to 12. I CAN’T WAIT any longer!!!!!!! Front row seats on October 24th for chapter 5 :)

Saw movies are the gretest movies anyone who doesn’t like them can fuck themselves because these movies have such a great story to it and it always keeps me thinking the makers of saw are the greatest people I always wonder what are the next traps and who is doing it these are the best movies ever no matter what anyone says I LOVE THESE MOVIES
January 28th, 2008 at 12:43 pm
i think the movies were good……1st one awesome….is just made me wanna watch the second one…..but after the second there seemed to be no difference in the movies…….just new victims…doing the same thing..being tortured….and dying…..i got tried after that i just thought there needs to be a new twist….enough of the bloodshed…ughh i seen enough…get something new…but i still want to wathch the last one just to see how it works out……………ohh n these movies aren’t scary just gruesome………!!overall OK
January 28th, 2008 at 12:45 pm
i watched the first one and the second it was horrible i didn’t like it
Get some new ideas to make people pee on thier selves while theyre watching…….not just making the puddle of blood
January 28th, 2008 at 8:48 pm
all of the saw movies are amazing. they are my favorite movies ever made. they are so well written and make you think, and every movie ends with a surprise that blows you away. The movies are so well written and the producers and writers of the movies are phenomenol. any one who says they hate these movies is stupid. the movies that are dumb are the horror movies that make no sense…and could never possibly be real….like the grudge. or other stupid stuff like that. you people need to see outside of just the torturing of people part…and all of the tortured people have a chance to save their life and get out…like amanda. but then amanda was a murderer and didn’t give people a chance…but thats another story. its all part of the game. i love the games. i love these movies. i thought the writers did an awesome job on 4 with jigsaw dead, but what will they do in 5 and 6? whatever it is, im sure it will be awesome. i bought all of the DVD’s (usually on release date) and i have saw 5 marked on my calender (october 24 2008) and i have marked saw 6 (october 30 2009) i cant wait. sadly, i think that is where it will end, but hopefully not. i dont think that the movies will get worse and stupid as they go on, because in my opinion the writers are doing a great job. how many movies can you say already have 4 sequels? going on 6? and usually the sequels to most movies kinda suck and ruin the first ones…but not saw. keep saw going!!!
January 31st, 2008 at 10:15 am
i like the movies

The first Saw I believed seemed to stand out, because it was the introduction of the series, and the introduction of the monster flip ending…in the sequels, you know what to expect, in terms of what the plot of the movie is, and you also expect a monster flip in the end, basically leaving you to wait through the entire movie for that monster flip. I enjoyed the first one, but it had plenty of kinks in its armor that made it less refined, particularly in one scene…the scene where Danny Glover with a gun in hand, has the option of either capturing the supposed Jigsaw or releasing saving his partner from a device…why didn’t he just shoot “jigsaw” (we later found out it wasn’t the real jigsaw) in the leg or something and save his partner…then later Glover shoots at jigsaw down a narrow hallway (i believe with a shotgun) missing him, an experienced detective totally missing a target at that close of range in a narrow hallway…not believable. I wasn’t as big of a fan of saw 2, except that the ending with the boy in the safe was interesting…showing that its not always about working fast, but sometimes about being patient (an idea later reintroduced in the ending of saw 4). Saw 3 was intersting in the way that it took a character through a series of test through the entire movie, but the ending was not as interesting to me because it attempted to show the monster flip as just a series of pawning the real test off on each of the characters. It was however the first Saw that was left actually open ended, with the main character not in a situation where he seemed in trouble or about to die, with a task still at hand. The others left the main characters locked in an unknown room, illuding to the fact that they were hopeless and would die there. Saw 4, I thought was the best of the series, because it incorporated some of the best aspects of all of them with a few new introductions…like the first, the main killer was locked in the room the entire time, seemingly a victim, like the second there was accomplises to jigsaw and multiple characters intertwined in the man plot fighting for their lives, rather than just random targets, as well as using the idea that patience can be the key, not just a race against the clock…and it incorporated the 3rd movie entirely, while also telling Jisaws story from beginning to end. I was a big disturbed in the 4th one about Riggs and how much he participated in Jigsaws games when he seemingly didn’t have to (I guess he didn’t know at the time though) such as forcing the hotel clerk into the vice, it really led him nowhere and gained him nothing, he could have simply turned the man in with the evidence and still searched the place for his needed clues. I do enjoy the series thoroughly though because I think that all movies of the horror genre are quite terrible except these, even those of the past. Yes it was clever that Freddy Kruger killed people in their dreams scaring children into not wanting to fall asleep. Todays horror movies are all terrible though, with terrible plots and worse acting, and are extremely formulaic (not saying that saw isnt, but its based off its own formula, others all follow each others) they attempt to scare you by using quick flashes of scary images, or worse, a quick image of what you think is going to be a scary image, but ends up being nothing but a cat running across something making a noise. I’m anticipating seeing what more can be done with the series with the release of not only another sequel but 2.
February 4th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
all of the Saw movies are completly insane! i love them. and for all you people that say they dont have a point its probably because u dont get it. you actually have to pay attention to the movie, which i also like alot
February 4th, 2008 at 7:49 pm
JAIME- Saw 4 ended with jigsaw in the room where he died, wvwn though it opened with his autopsy because the entire movie except the autopsy is taking place at the same exact time as Saw 3, its like what is also going on. Saw 3 starts out with Donnie Wahlberg being missing for 6 months, and Saw 4 they mention him being missing for 6 months. The autopsy in the beginning is a flash to the end of the movie to throw your mental timeline off. I think its one of the most genious ideas in any sequel ever! One of the things I will always give kudos to the Saw series for is they do always have some fresh ideas to incorporate in their sequels, many sequels to movies can never compare to the original. I think this is even more of a challenge when you are dealing with movies that are great because they introduce you to something new, so in the sequels this ideal is no longer new (such as the ending of saw 1). That is actually exactly how I felt about The Matrix series (I may be crucified for this) but I thought the frist one was one of the best movies ever made, but didn’t care for the sequels because it was the ideal of the first one I was enamored by, and became bored the more they tried to draw out the story. The same goes for the Bourne series…the first one was great, the introduction of the amnesia, and us discovering the character, while he was discovering himself, the others were just more of the same, while no longer being enamored by this new ideal. And for those of you who were asking about when Saw 5 and 6 come out, its the weeks of Halloween this year and next.
February 5th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
I absolutely love these movies. The acting is great, and I don’t understand why people think the acting is bad. The movies AREN’T scary, they are just bloody and gory. You cannot possibly hate these movies, they have really good story lines and they are really good movies. If you don’t like drama or suspense or horror, then plainly don’t watch the freaking movies because then you wouldn’t have anything bad to say about them even though if you watch the movies you’ll love them. I would have to say the movies keep getting better and better! I LOVE HOW THEY KEEP CONTINUING the movies, so they won’t just END. I hate movies that are really good that just end, it bothers the CRAP out of me because you just want them to keep going. Which is exactly what the Saw producers are doing. ..i CANT WAIT FOR THE 5th and 6th and hopefully 7th!!
February 5th, 2008 at 3:35 pm
I HAVE SEEN ALL OF THEM. I saw the 3rd and 4th in theatres and I OWN THEM ALL FROM RIGHT WHEN THEY CAME OUT ON DVD. I HAVE SOME “BILLY THE PUPPET” PUPPETS AND ACTION FIGURES FROM THE MOVIE. i AM A SAW FREAK AND I LOVE IT!!! =)
February 5th, 2008 at 6:36 pm
i think that saw movies are awsome because most horror movies or regular movies end with something looking like its gonna continue like a killer running away from the police or something stupid and then they get away and dont ever write a sequal
February 5th, 2008 at 6:41 pm
i also forgot saw movies actually finish the movie and also the things that happan on saw can actually happan cause its just home appliances like a football helmet with nails in it and also we all remember the collar bomber dont we the guy who straped a bomb to a guys chest and made him rob a bank or the woulda killed him.
February 6th, 2008 at 9:44 pm
apparently alot of you have no love for genius
these movies you can take the gore out and they would still be amazing
the intelligence of the writers is outstanding
February 6th, 2008 at 9:47 pm
ok sorry about what i just said i only read the top few comments then read the rest
great to see others love the genius in these films
February 7th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
i want to see some fisting in saw V
February 10th, 2008 at 3:55 pm
saw 4 was basically a flashback for saw 3 showing wat happened at the same time wich is really confusing
ok i like them they are good films but they are confusing
the whoe of saw 4 was about the tape that john swallowed in 3 and when it gets back to the room where jigsaw died, it shows that detective listenin 2 the tape
this was confusing because its showing rigg get through his game and what happened 2 jeff at the end
i want 2 c what happens in 5 because its still got a massive story in it.
they should be good these movies are pureee genius
February 13th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
I love the saw moves the 4th is the best so far. I cant wait for the 5th and 6th ones to come out to see who the killer ends up being in both since so far it has changed.
February 16th, 2008 at 2:00 am
Obviously most of you have no idea how hard props makeers work in these kind of movies. i do a little bit of special effects work and such and these people work their asses off to make the machines and torture devices from the movies. These people have talent, plus there is good acting a well written script. You people know nothing about the film industry if you cant appreciate any aspect of these movies. shame on you
February 22nd, 2008 at 1:23 pm
these movies are amazingg! 1,2,&4 were the best. the 3rd one wasnt that good it was too boringg. The second one was probely my favorite becuase xavier was the hottestt guy alive! if you get past the whole cyco killing thing he was extremley hot!! and i loved when he threw amanda into the needles..she deserved it! i cryed when xavier cut off his neck and than amanda killed him. In the first movie i loved adam i thought he was really funny he kept me laughing the whole movie even at the gross parts. im not a huge fan of blood but i am obsested with these movies! Riggs was EXTREMLEY hott too and when he had his shirt off in the 4th movie i couldnt take my eyes away from the t.v!! I really hope riggs doesnt die in the 5th one!! and luke from gilmore girls in the end when he is trapped in the room with the dead bodys i thought it was kinda funny=). i was kinda confused at the end how they were operatingg on him and than they found the tape then he was in the room? confusingg. oh well i just cant wait untill the 5&6 ones hopefully they explain anything and pleaseee dontt let riggs die!! these movies were off the hizzy, fo sho ,true dat!
February 25th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
i love all the movies cant wait to see how the next 2 come out i love all the contraptions made in the films.. put ideas into my head i just love things like that.. these movies go well with the way my mind works
March 8th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
The horror is what draws in its audience. Seeing something different from everyday life is what gives someone there thrill. Thats why people go watch horror movies, for that quick stimulation and thrill.
Now, Saw 5. My friends have been going all around the web trying to find as much information about Saw 5 as they can. There stating that this is “probably one of the best saws yet”. I was quite upset with the 4th one, i mean, i watched it and was like “Eh, it was ok”. But, Saw 5 seems to be what the audience wants. So, let the games begin.
March 9th, 2008 at 1:20 pm
Saw is one the best horror movies arround lets be honest most people seemed to think saw 2 was the best for me i thought is was crap.
I saw, saw 3 as a new beging for the films. and So it should be it is dffently the best horror film about want proof?

Anyho Woooo saw 5
March 9th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
OH P.S. HOSTEL IS the worst film made
March 9th, 2008 at 1:23 pm
sorry to keep typeing but reece is right i’ve been doing that screaching for saw V stuff.
And the idea of films in genreal games w/e in horror is to see somthing play somthing that you know u can’t in real life so the idea is to give the the thrill or the rush as if you was doing it yourself.
March 9th, 2008 at 5:51 pm
Saw…one thing that makes these movies amazing is that these scenarios COULD HAPPEN.
Saw V
Oct 24/08
Saw VI
Oct 30/09
March 11th, 2008 at 12:09 pm
I just want to say that I am a great fan of the Saw movies and cant wait till Saw 5 and 6 are released. I had never been big into horror movies but the way these films have been done are absolutley brilliant keep it up.
March 11th, 2008 at 7:22 pm
I liked the saw movies. I found the sequils a little hard to follow but they are still pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t even mention the little girl once in the last movie. It’s like they had forgotten her.
March 20th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
i cant wait for 5 and 6!! why is everyone so against the movies? i thought i looked like just a blood film, then i watched 1-4 in order and now im hooked on it!!!!i cant wait they r gonna be wicked!
April 18th, 2008 at 3:08 pm
i dont understand them they are dumb and confussing you idoits
April 18th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
TO ASHLEY-
They are confusing but it’s the reason for making more movies to the series…to answer your questions, and possibly give you more, thou they aren’t at all stupid (to me) they have an interesting storyline and the creativity that must go into thinking out each trap scene and the backgrounds of the people i’m sure isn’t easy.
Btw, you may like something that i think is dumb but i’m not going to call you an idiot for liking it.
April 19th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
also to ashley
you can’t understand them BUT they’re dumb and stupid
that makes who the idot?
April 19th, 2008 at 2:23 pm

April 22nd, 2008 at 5:03 am
I will watch it but it will not be the same since Jigsaw was killed in the 3rd one and in Saw 4 they should had picked up where that man’s daughter was kidnapped and took it from there andf you said that the director who did SAW 2, SAW 3, SAW 4 will not direct SAW 5. It will not be the same and it will be stupid but I will still watch it. That is my opinion.
April 22nd, 2008 at 7:33 pm
yes that is ashame the same director will not be doing this next saw, hopefully this director does just as good of a job as the other two. My biggest concern is if they follow the playwrite accurately
April 28th, 2008 at 4:12 am
If you have nothing good to say about the trilogy please don’t waste your time posting your nonsense comments. This discussion is only for the fans who truely love horror, gorey and movies that make you THINK!
Saw trilogy is really awesome. I really love SAW I and SAW IV..I’m looking forward for the upcoming SAW V! Bit by bit the gorey stuffs of SAW trilogy are coming out, huh?this is great!^_^
April 28th, 2008 at 6:01 pm

April 30th, 2008 at 2:54 am
wallace
you say you want to know what happens to the daughter but saw 4 ran along side saw 3 at the same time, so hopfully that’ll come up in saw 5!
April 30th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
dude the first movie was by far the best show i’d ever seen, cause it really got me into the story and got me thinking. It was soo trippy!! the second was was not as good but ok i guess. The third one just plain sucked- they went to overboard on it. the traps were way too big and elaborate. The fourth one was alittle better i got to admit. some of the traps in that one were the best ones yet.
I’m not as into SAW as when the first one came out, but i’m gonna remain a loyal SAW fan and go see the next one. I laughed when i heard that they were not only gonna make a 5th one but were already planning on a 6th one!! wholy crap they’re not gonna quit anytime soon ha ha!!! well all i can say is keep em coming, keep em simple, and i’ll keep seein them!!!! hell ya!!!
May 8th, 2008 at 1:45 pm

May 10th, 2008 at 10:56 am
The Saw movies are the best written horror/suspense movies of all time. People that dont like them say that because they are too stupid to understand them. to my Saw fam: keep up the good work! i love every one and i always see them the first day at the movies. and i am always blown away. Idiots please keep it moving! your feeble minds just cant grasp what you are seeing!

May 19th, 2008 at 6:13 am
Well none of you guys are movie producers so no one really cares about your opinion. My opinion on the saw movies; I really injoyed them and its more than people getting tortured you would no that if you really watched the movies and payed attention.
May 19th, 2008 at 2:34 pm
I am a big SAW fan. I loved all of the movies. Nonetheless, although I loved SAW 4, I’d have liked that it answered the tons of questions the audience already had instead of just making up many more. Now the audience has about two tons of questions.
May 19th, 2008 at 9:23 pm

May 24th, 2008 at 1:02 pm
if you dont like saw movies
then you are gay
saw movies are not about torturing or killing
they are about testing people’s will to live
the reason that they are making so many is because they are written like a book
people get mad that they keep making these movies
but look at harry potter
those books are horrible
but they continued to make them
so no matter how many people say that the movies are bad
they will still make it
and watch the movies before youi post comments please
these movies have the best storyline since fightclub
and they are not intended to scare you
they are more intended to grows you out BUT MOSTLY MAKE YOU THINK OF HOW YOU ARE LIVING YOUR LIFE!!
May 24th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
The fourth one is the best
The other ones suck.
I’m looking forward to seeing the fifth
FREAK you people who hate horror films
These movies aren’t even scary
They’re just
Head squashing gross.
but awesome.
(:
May 24th, 2008 at 10:30 pm
I like all the saw movies because they always offer something original. I think that 5 and 6 will offer the same crazy plot twists. However, one thing that bothers me is at the end of 3, jigsaw is dead and tells jeff that he will have to go through another test to get his daughter back, but 4 never even addressed this issue. However, I will still continue to see the movies because they fucking kick ass!
May 26th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
So saw 5 finshing filming. The end trap in saw 5 was the idea of the new directors son i aged 7 at the time.
there are 6 traps
and apperntly some1 escapes a trap and gets caught right up in another one.
oooooooo
i already have 10 versons of saw-saw4 so bring the blood.
May 27th, 2008 at 3:12 pm
i like the saw movies for the twist.when i went to see the first saw a group of ppl around said that the assistant was the main bad guy because dr.gordon made fun of him.when they show him as the bad guy.the same ppl around started to say i told you so, what did i say this is to predictable.then the ending made them look like idiots.
May 29th, 2008 at 8:25 pm
all i can say is i loved the movies and anyone who says different are just scared ! i cant wait for part 5 it is going to be a good one so let the games begins…. :)
May 30th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
The Saw movies are by far my favorite series of movies. The psychological warfare that jigsaw induces his victims into is great. The psyche of Jigsaw himself is also intriguing. Yes, there are blood and guts in the movie. Yes, the movies can be very confusing(like Saw 4 being primarily a huge flashback) but they are quality.
June 1st, 2008 at 7:09 pm
There is nothing worse than stuck up film school losers like the people above who have nothing better to do with their day than slam Saw movies. There is a reason why these movies continue to make more and more money every year…….BECAUSE THEY ARE ENTERTAINING. Go smoke your pot and quit bitching about people continuing to make movies that are incredibly popular and profitable. Its called CAPITALISM idiots.
June 3rd, 2008 at 4:12 pm
To all of those who don’t like saw…tough break!! I absolutely love them all! Initially when I first watched saw 4 I was disappointed bc I could not figure it out. But just like 123 I went to buy 4 and I watched it, until I figured it out!! BRILLIANT!!! And I am anxiously waiting for 5!
June 5th, 2008 at 11:54 am
all the saw movies are intense. if you don’t like saw then you guys are all idiots. the first one has no boring parts and mostly everything falls into place except for the questions you’re askin yourselves…that’s the point of horror suspense films.
i love the guys that made saw and who will extend the making of them. just make ‘em good so i don’t seem like a douchebag.
June 7th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
You cant judge the movies unless you see the bigger pictures the artists are going for. the 1st and 2nd films where there to set the foundation of the bigger picture. the third just fills in the the missing links of the rest of the movies. the 4th one continues the story line. the fith one is needed to finish or continue the story. being a starting film writer myself, i see the bigger picture behind all the gore. the movies may lead in to a 6th, 7th, or however many films it may take, as long as the keep the story line up. i will continue to watch the movies to see the storyline through. The biggest symbolism in these movies is the movies them self. if you dont watch all of them, of course they will “suck”. you dont understand, all you saw unbelievers, you are looking at the movies as individuals. “the first one was the best” ” the third one sucked” you need to look at the movies all together as a hole. the symbol behind “Jigsaw” is that the movies themself are jigsaw pieces. if you dont see that you will never grasp the amazing potental behind these films.
June 10th, 2008 at 8:41 am
I loved all the saw movies, the 1st was original to the plot and it got slow on the 2nd sequel although I thought it was a great addition to the traps set it could of had more. Saw 3 is my favourite of all of them & I equally like the 4th. They have made it with sickening horror and an amazing twist in them all & I thought the best thing was that jigsaw had true motivation for what he does the victims selected and their purposes for their fate im sure people out there will relate to the mindset & in reality people think like him too, as long as they keep the storylines strong I couldnt care less if it went beyond saw 10 Bring them on!
June 12th, 2008 at 3:20 am

June 14th, 2008 at 4:01 am

June 15th, 2008 at 1:05 pm

1-realistic
2-nice and gory
3-brilliant games
June 20th, 2008 at 8:06 pm
The Saw movies are horribly fantastic. While in the sense that John is an insane old man, you also get to look into his twisted idea of survival. The series is also great because they are still going. How long has it been since there was a good long horror series? I think that they are awesome movies, and would recommend them to anyone wanting to watch a interesting series.
June 20th, 2008 at 11:45 pm
First off the original creators have nothing to do with saw 5 so it’s going to suck. The first Saw was very good considering the small budget they had.Saw 2 was nothing but people getting killed left and right, and the 3rd and 4th are technically 2 movies in 1.
Yeah we all enjoy seeing the cool traps but that isn’t what the movie is about,in the first film they only had 2 traps.
I think they never should have killed off Jigsaw, but I don’t think they should have revealed his identity so early on into the series.
All these people that keep making the new saw movies are just trying to get all the money they can get off these movies and don’t even write a good script but think they can fix it by putting a bunch of traps in the movies so nobody will notice. If they want to make the very last saw good then they should have James Wan direct it and have Lee Whannell should write the screenplay because they are the original creators and they know the movie concept the best.
June 22nd, 2008 at 6:44 am
I think this is a great movie of in the film industry i like it very much
June 24th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
I don’t get people. How can you not like these movies? These movies leave you on the edge of your seat until the end comes. Also it makes you wonder about certain stuff that was questioned during the movie. Every ending of all these movies left me in awe literately my jaw was dropped every single time. So i definitely can’t wait for Saw V to come out. I saw someone posted a comment comparing these movies to Freddy and Jason. How can you even compare those movies to the Saw movies? Every movie Freddy or Jason has come back from the dead. Jigsaw has been dead people just continued his legacy.
June 26th, 2008 at 3:41 pm
I also love the series. The first one might be the one of the best horrormovies i have seen in years! The ending on that one even beats the ending in “The sixt sense”. However, that is my oppinion. The second one was also awsome, but i have to say, even though it was interesting as the story continues from part 1 and 2, the third one was not that good actually.. The special make up effects were wicked (as always), but i just didn`t feel pleased whit it.. And it killed poor John!!:( (lol) I wasent that pleased whit the fourth on either the first time i saw it, but i desided to give it another try so that the little confusment i had could get some stimulation;-) And after the second try it just said BOOM!! Suddenly the third one maked more sense to, as the story in both the third and the fourth movie obiusly happends “back to back!” An interesting twist there;-) So now i cant wait to the fifth movie enters my door so that i carefully can place it inside my beloved DVD player;-)
July 2nd, 2008 at 2:39 am

July 5th, 2008 at 2:17 am
the gore in saw 5 personally doesnt disgust me because think of how much skill it takes to direct/edit/film/sequence together the film but i do agree they may be taking it a little to far with saw 5
July 7th, 2008 at 1:14 pm
Couldn’t we all just remember the fact that OTHER PEOPLE THAN YOU should be able to READ what the **** you write… STOP the caps abuse, and the “1337″ language. I sucks, it makes you look like a kid and worst of all, you loose your point in your maybe seriouse post !
*On Topic*
Saw series rock, can’t stop loving them, and the music in the endings… oh my god I love it ! :D One day at work I thought of the song without noticing it, and I got totally thrilled out !
Was kinda spooky, hehe.
Saw 5 and 6 (really comming a 6? Awesome!) are gonna be cool i believe. But we can’t judge a movie we havn’t seen, so lets wait and see.
I’m personally looking forward to it. Can’t wait ! :)
GOOD WORK PRODUCERS !!

i loved the first three. they rocked ass. but 4 sucked and i think the only good parts were in the commercials. now with 5 and six lionsgate has gone to far and theyre killing the entire point of this horror trifecta. shoulda been kept at 3
