Australian Who Magazine is reporting that 32-year-old Australian Supermodel Megan Gale has been cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller’s Justice League of America. AICN has confirmed the report with multiple sources, so this looks to be legit, and not just another one of the countless internet casting rumors.
Megan has only appeared in two films thus far: the 2001 Italian film Stregati dalla luna, and the 2005 Rob Cohen movie Stealth. She stands 5′10”, has brown hair and green eyes. Gale seems to physically embody the Wonder Woman character much better than previously rumored actresses. Her age is also much older than most of the rumored cast, which some have jokingly referred to as the “Teen Titans”.

She is the right height and has light eyes. Colored contacts gave Routh dead eyes, or maybe that was just his acting, nevertheless, I’m happy Gale won’t have that problem.
I always figured Wonder Woman would be an unknown with little experience, so that doesn’t bother me. However, having all the Big Three that way screams of suckfest. If Adam Brody is your big name star, you know the film is in trouble.

IT would appear that she nailed the part. And I am happy for her. I do believe that this was Miller’s choice, not Joel Silver’s. Nadia Bjorlin should have gotten this part. It is to bad that they over looked her. It’s our loss that she didn’t get it. I dout that Gale will be their choice if in fact they do a Wonder Woman movie. She is to old. The jury is out , weather she can act. One thing I do know, is that they got her cheap.

Ashley Cheadle would be really good for this role to, she is a wonderful talented Actress, i think they are both stunning and would do a terrific job

I reckon that theres no problem of her playing the role and i dont see why people are being negative about her getting casted cause they think that shes too short or too old. how on earth she too old?! shes 32!!! and still looks like shes in her twenties. MEGAN GALE IS AWESOME!!!

Megan it´s the perfect WW, but the rest of the team can be the worst you can imagine don´t forget the Warner Casting Behaviour or the directors personal look at the Comic Universe). A Justice League Film will report to warner brothers one of the most blockbuster films ever made, but according to Warner modus operandi, their castigs are not so good Brian Singer it´s a good example of misterious castings(remember the recent Brandon Routh on Superman thigts, and in the same film a supreme lex luthor in Spacey Work, and the re-intent of making Mardsen a star) otherwise, Bale´s Batman i´ts awesome, great. With Megan as WW will be some BIG stars to make a good JLA movie and no a disappointmen League to everybody ( like Mardsen as Cyclops, the X Men Leadmen now as an idiot prince in Disney´s last Production enchanted ( Mardsen born to be role)
Warner its going to make the most important super hero film ever made, and it´s rare to think in mediocre casts or in tv to cinema discoverings… The JLA Film will be one of the hollywood films to earn more money so make a right choice in every fiel. Casting will be the most intresting with direction and screenwrigth, like the plot.
To accompain a beutiful woman and actress like Megan Gale, they need a powerful bunch of actors to make a blockbuster hit, megan don´t work to this purpose. Bale will be Batman again, a great batman, or will be a Jason Statham more Rude Dark Knight? if not, an Avenger Film wait for a great role for it . Routh don´t work as Superman, and the JLA Superman is bigger and powerful and thowghest than the singer superman look and behaviour. I Think in a Muscle tipe of actor If color doesen´t matter a great Superman can be The Rock.(casting departament at work!!!) , with a John Stewart Green Lantern no one like VIN DIESEL comes better, and thik of it, a great barry allen Flash comes in the flesh of Paul Walker, Josh duhamel can be useful in this role but not so good at the box office, it will be a tipical Brian Singer Tipe of cast. As Martian Manhunter I put all the bets on Samuel Jackson, Aquaman can be portrayed by Karl Urban (Eomer from Lord of the Rings), names come and go, but it can be difficult to find a perfect match between characters and actors, like Cesar romero / the Joker. Hugh Jackman/ Wolverine. Halle Berry/ Storm. Kevin Spacey/ Lex Luthor. Wesley Snipes / Blade. Danny de Vito / The Pengüin . Frank Gorshin - Jim carrey/ The riddler. Edward Norton/ Bruce banner. Robert Downey Jr. / Iron Man. but these kind of matters of regroup first class and expensive actors don´t come on mind at the studios… if George Clooney make the film it will be possible, he thinks on the film after the money ( ocean´s Eleven) and then the money comes. oooh Brad Pitt as Aquaman???? or as Superman???? not bad at all… a League not too young… intresting Idea. think studios think!!!!!!!

Megan Gale is a lot more like Wonder Woman than you think, Hal. You are thinking of the typical model body type. Megan is more fuller and muscular than the photo above shows. To me she looks perfect for the part, wether she can act is another matter…

if none of them have the toned or muscular physique it won’t be believable. Wonder Woman has to have muscle tone and curves in the right places.The character Wonder Woman isn’t lean like a distance runner- Salma Hayek , Lucy Pinder.

some of you people are stupid. Physically she is very close. She is 5 foot 10.3/4 inch, and is the height WW would be. She has light eyes, and the right hair color. If you watch an interview of her in australia, you will see she towers over most people. She also have an athletic build with broad shoulders.
The only lacking are is her bust. Hey a push up bra will fix that without CGI.
