Kristin Bell with Slusho! on Heroes

The fictional Slusho! brand frozen drink made another appearance on Heroes last night. Kristin Bell’s character Elle was again drinking the frozen treat in a car. And this time around the logo is more prominent.  Cloverfield Clues has a batch of screengrabs from the episode. Slusho! is a main focus of the viral marketing behind the JJ Abrams-produced monster film Cloverfield. We’re still unsure of the connection between Cloverfield and the popular television show.

Last week Heroes director/producer Greg Beeman uploaded a set of photos of the Heroes cast enjoying the frozen beverage, noting that “Their cultural significance will become clear in the coming months, so… pay attention!”

My guess as to the connection between Cloverfield and Heroes is that both deal with mutation/evolution.

Besides that, it’s probably just a fun gimmick aimed at the same target group combined with the fact that JJ Abrams is friends with Greg Grunberg and probably also Tim Kring since Tim used to work with Damon Lindelof.

Heroes needs less Slusho, more Script Doctor. And a smattering of acting coaches, especially in the kids’ trailer

great !! Heroes is the best, and surely Cloverfield will be the best, so the connection via the drink is quite exciting :-)

I think that there is some kind of ingredient in slusho that the people who run the company are drilling for and when they go drilling for some more of that certain ingredient, they wake something up.

After reading the “History” section on the Slusho! website, it sounds like whatever they found at the bottom of the ocean mutates people. They put the ingredient they found in the ocean into Slusho! and there is some comment about the guy who finds it having a dream to drink it, and when he does he “grew from a small fish into an enormous whale!!!”

So with the image of a woman doubling in size, the fact she is bleeding from the face (internal bleeding) and another production photo where a guy and a chick are holding a door shut, she has three claw marks on her upper arm (which had to be made by something much smaller than the “main” monster)…there has to be smaller creatures.

My guess is that people who drink “More than six!” Slusho!’s suffer some form of mutation, and the main monster is the root of it.

    Why the Hazmat suits?

It can’t really be that simple? The whole plot of the movie, down to a 12oz slusho??? WTF…

    @loon3y
Please learn to type like a human being. You are lowering the level of discourse on an already base medium. Please, please, please learn to spell, and put forth the modicum of effort it would take to type out the whole word, as “wit” is only one letter short of “with”, but is characterized by a completely different meaning and application. In short, I despise what you are doing to the English language and I hope someone revokes your internet privileges, and possibly your reproductive organs.

loon3y you are an idiot seriously. You do realized you make no sense when you type, there is a reason people go to school. You apparently never paid attention or even went. Its sad there are people like you that feel typing like a moron is OK. I suggest leaving spell check on your browser, you might learn something new….like the English language.

    @”HUH?”
No offense “HUH?”, but when you try to use complex words which you don’t even know the meaning of or when to put them into context you sound like a fool. For example, “You are lowering the level of discourse on an already base medium.” What you are trying to say makes no sense to the reader because what you are saying makes no sense. I think you need to get your nose out of the thesaurus and look for a better hobby then trying to degrade people on the internet. You are an idiot. Finally, just as loon3y so greatly stated, “STFU !!!!!!!!!”.
    Oh, and fuck you.

its funi how on evry blog or forum u c on the net ther is always a big arguement….oh the human way.
I saw cloverfield tonight and it’s all making sense, its like Lost way of having little websites and pretend companies to keep you going even when the program isnt on TV anyway here goes:

its all so obvious now, the slusho is wat makes the lost characters so ‘good’ as in locke can walk again and the monsters on the island are all just weird, thats why the girl is drinkin it in that lost picture, but mainly slusho is used in cloverfield; the tanker that crashes is carryin the slusho, vast amounts of it, it then sinks to the bottom of the oceon wher the already awakened monster is pisd off for bein hit on the head by the sumthn beginnin with ‘T’ company that also is the same company as the slusho japanese company whos satalite falls from the sky into the water and awakens the creature that later smashes up new york (watch the last clip on cloverfield wher they are at the fair; you’ll see an object fall from the sky into the water if you look closely and no its not the monster from space its a satallite that awakens the creature at the bottom of the sea), anyway the monster drinks the slusho (from the tanker that crashed carryin the drink) and turns all mad and weird and double strength/size the ingrediant in the slusho cant be in a higher than freezin heat or acid environment and it is inside the monster so he starts ’sproating’ lots of mini monsters, thats why the girl kinda blows up becus she was bitten and/or scratched. basically the big picture is that slusho has a secret ingrediant from the bottom of the sea (sea nectar) this is bad stuff althou makes livin creatures better and healthier (not good for a sea monster who then comes onto land and grows lungs on its head). The company involved with the side company slusho do deep sea escavation and the bloke involved with this is the brother of the girl who made slusho….he has a dream about stickin the nectar from the bottom of the sea in her drinks, humans love it, animals e.g. cats (cats are mentioned on one of the pages i researched), fish love it and deep sea creatures that are awoke by satellites that have fallen on their heads kind of like it but its makes them go mad……so if someone offers you a slusho; politely decline then leave town!

isnt it bad how tied up ppl get into this advertising/film making/money making sub plots to films that u have to look up and research even after you’ve paid your cinema ticket, late at night when you shud be in bed but actually your surfin the net to find out more answers, then the specially created fake company websites that you look at which adds to your broadband bill at the end of the month….i bet the dude who made this stuff also owns the interenet companies, that way wen evry1 watches his films and programs they come on the net to research the hidden plots and he gets all the money……clever stuff

excuse the poor english, im too tired and its too late for me to care….and now; to bed!
(hopefully i wont get kidnapped and slushoed during the night, i shall prepare for this at any rate.
