One of the teaser trailers from the early 1980s, just happens to be for my favorite movie of all time - Back to the Future. I assume this trailer was filmed early on in the production, as it contains absolutely no footage from the feature film. Most of the earlier teaser trailers were like this (JAWS, Superman: The Movie). It’s insanely cheesy and worth watching. Check out the original teaser trailer for Back to the Future after the jump.

That was fucken great!!……………………Hey, how come the delorioan was covered in ice when Doc sent Einstein back in time the first time, it was never mentioned to be cold once after? If you watch it again, that thing is COATED with ice even so that it crunches icily when he reopens it, one minute into the future to be exact.

Zach, they don’t mention it but it does have ice on it everytime. The filmmakers never missed that detail.

that’s everything a trailer should be. too many now ruin the movie by giving everything away.

Ah, Back to the Future…what a great, fun movie. Where have the last 23 years gone?
