Last time we told you that Disney was considering a spin-off for Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Today Cinemablend confirms our previous reports. Their scooper claims:
“the ending of Pirates 3, the fountain of youth story might not be the only story they might used the next pirate’s film. The fountain story could used in another form to introduce the story for Pirates 4… the next film might be a departure from the same formula of the last three movies as well, meaning that Jerry Bruckheimer could be planning to enter the realm of Science Fiction this time around and it could be the heart of a new trilogy with Jack Sparrow and his crew of misfits. Some of the brainstorming going around involves some Jules Verne type of scenarios involving some pretty big flying machines, a man who wants to rule more than just the ocean, a encounter with the most famous and dangerous pirate of all, a race to get to a lost world (Hint, Hint) and Jack and his crew going to where no pirate has gone before (No, its not space but Disney had made animated movie about this place before with Michel J Fox voicing one of the characters).”
I wonder how credible CB’s source could be if he can’t even spell Michael J. Fox’s name right. Anyway, let’s pretend that he has some inside information. What is the Disney flick the scooper alludes to? Atlantis: The Lost Empire. That’s right, Captain Jack could be in search for the lost world of Atlantis. Although, I’m not sure about the whole “big flying machines” idea. One thing is for sure, any storyline involving Depp’s Captain Jack will immediately capture my interest.

pirates is one of my favourites series, altough i didn’t especially like beginning of 3rd, i loved the end, and also i think, if there is a 4th, that jack is doing competition to barbossa to find the well of youth, why not? :)

That is highly debatable. Obviously, if Will’s at sea every ten years, they aren’t gonna have more than one kid! So idk…maybe she could open an inn…i don’t know, I can see her doing that and forcibly handling the trouble makers! Or maybe she could have some kind of Pirate king deal. One things for sure - she isn’t a housewife!

After reading cinemablends ’scooper’, it sounds more like an Indiana Jones type of plot personally. If indeed there is another ‘Pirates’ trilogy though, as long as it’s handled well, we should all be excited (and maybe a little dubious….as the part of ‘going where no pirate has gone before’ sounds way too whimsical for a pirates scenario, but time will tell whether this ’scooper’ has any truth to it.
2 sub-plots which sound really enticing personally are:-
“a man who wants to rule more than just the ocean” and
“a(n) encounter with the most famous and dangerous pirate of all”
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out what ‘POTC 4′ or ‘Pirates 4′ is all about….

I would love to see a 4th movie. I was never really into Will’s character until this movie. I liked the fact that he was a bit underhanded and he makes a great pirate. I am sad that she is just sitting there waiting, I mean how many visits can he make before she’s old and ugly. I really hope if there is a 4th someone takes his place ushering the souls and then they can all go adventuring together :) I think the movie would be a success with just Jack but there are a lot of people who love the other characters as well, maybe they can just weave them into the storyline. I can not imagine any of them would be bored with the money the movie will make them,

It just seems to me that although Jack is a huge part of the movies, if they
go and make a whole bunch of movies just about him, people are going to get
bored. You have to have good, interesting, but smaller main characters with
their own issues, or else people will get tired of it. I don’t think people realize
just how important the characters of Will and Elizabeth are to the movies. And
I would like to say that how could it be Pirates of the CARIBBEAN if it is not in the
CARIBBEAN?!!!!! The Atlantis idea is dumb.

Atlantis is that ‘Lost City’ that supposedly (in legend) sunk underneath the sea a long time ago. There was a cartoon movie made of it, and there were car things that went around underwater…there was a city and life all that. It’s an interesting story, but would be awful for Pirates. Atlantis would be a better movie on its own. Not as Pirates.

Under Dylan’s suggestion, I will make up a story (spoofs films):
Jack Sparrow and his new friend Jack Swallows sail from Gnarnia
(Epic Movie) and come across an island that’s shaped like a fish (Sinbad)
They run from it, and come across a ocean that automatically for no
reason turns to ice (Rise of the Silver Surfer) they get out of their ship
The Jammy Dodger (Flushed Away) and walk to shore, where they meet
Gilligan and all these other people with a giant orange frog (Gilligan’s
Island and Gulla-Gulla Island) Jack get’s freaked out and kills the frog,
then disguises himself as Govenor Scharzenegger. Gilligan and the
other’s run, thinking he’s the Terminator, and jumps in the bushes.
Then, all these buff people come, and scares Jack Swallows, he cries
and they buff guys cradle him. Gilligan says their just abunch of panzees
(Madagascar) and go to meet them. There are four of them, and their
names are Peter, Susan, Lucy, and Edward (Chronicles of Narnia, Epic
Movie) They all hear of the Great White Shark living in the water (Jaws)
and aim to do something about it. Peter shoots claws from his fingers
(X-Men), Susan pulls out Dodgeballs (Dodgeball) Lucy pulls out two
blades and crosses her chest (V for Vendetta) and Edward pulls out
his Scizzorhands (Edward Scizzorhands). Jack pulls out his blade
(Pirates), Jack Swallows pulls out his rum bottles (Epic Movie), and
Gilligan and the other’s coward away and are eaten by something
vicious in the woods (Lost). They fight the Great White Shark, and
before they kill it, he says “All that you know, is at an end.” (Rise
of the Silver Surfer) they kill the White Shark, and Jack Swallows
dies becuase he drunk to much. They all know that the devourer
Galactitor is coming (Fantastic Four 2) they all prepaire while
somewhere else, Darth Tader (Star Wars, Potato Head reference)
comes to destroy them. Suke Lkywalker comes and helps them fight.
They all fight Darth Tader until Suke handles him, and he tells him
he’s his father. Suke walks to Tader and his cheast opens to find
a small potato in his chest controlling him (Men in Black) soon, Jack,
Peter, Susan, Lucy, and Edward all try to find The Golden Gladiator
(Silver Surfer) to help stop Galactitor. He says he has no choice, and
dies fighting a lion (Gladiator) they all go to stop him, thereselves and
get into the Duovehicle asnd fly off, while jack flys a ship called the
Black Pearl (Treasure Planet, flying ships) he finds someone on board
named Barbossa. He fights him, and down below, Peter blows up the car,
and they crash into the Pearl’s side. They run over Barbossa and Jack’s
toe. He screams, and chops Peter’s head off. Soon, the see Galactitor in
the sky, they can’t stop him, but Edward pulls out a remote and fast
fowards (Click) The Golden Gladiator doesn’t die, and they go into
present day, and the Golden Gladiator kills Galactitor. They all celebrate
the next day at Pete’s Bar, where they are acknologedged on tv (US
Marshals) they all click beer bottles together, and drink, then have a
beer drinking competition (Beerfest) it ends with Jack Sparrow throwing
up on everyone on his left, and they all shiver (POTC 2) he smiles, and

Meh, i think if done right it could be pretty good. Atlantis would be good with a good story if the right thing was done, just atlantis and nothing futuristic or crap. Though i still prefer the FOuntain of Youth since it is immortality, and involves Barbossa and the Black Pearl. Although i want a departure from the last trilogy, i think it should be linked not just with Jack but also the Pearl.

The blue Burgalar dies, but Moldeymort zaps him with his stink. He dies again, until Harry Pothead (Harry Potter), Ronny Weasle,
And Hermon Parkranger come to save the day. Hermon sees and animal in trouble, and flies in a cape, and goes to save it (Wonderpets) while Harry Pothead gives some pot to Moldeymort. He thanks him, and Ronny sprays him with Fabreeze. He screams, and is defeated. Soon, the Wolfman and Sadam Hussen is left, while Jack stabs Osama from behind. The Wolfman is killed by Edward’s Scizzorhands. Soon, every bad-guy is dead, until an Ashton Kutcher look-a-like coems up, and says “You just got Punk’d! Shwam!†All the bad guys get up to reveal their all stuntdoubles. Soon, The Golden Gladiator defeats Galactitior, and all is won. They all celebrate the next day at Pete’s Bar, where they are acknologedged on tv (US Marshals) they all click beer bottles together, and drink, then have a
beer drinking competition (Beerfest) it ends with Jack Sparrow throwing

eh I still think Jack and Barbossa were better off with a cliffhanger ending. I mean it suits their personalities and the whole “he stole my map” was to add a bit humor to their characters so yea.
Pirates of the Caribbean 3 ended with a great ending in my opinion.

Well taytay051, when I heard that there was going be a second and third
movie I thought there was absolutely nothing that they could write about,
but they sure found stuff! I’m sure they could find more to write about.
But I don’t think that they should make too many movies and ruin the
series. They should just make a fourth, and possibly a fifth if they want
to continue on. If they don’t decide to continue the series, well, that’s fine
with me too! And on the subject of Keira Knightley, I’m not sure anyone
really knows for sure if she’s coming back or not, but it sounds like she’s
kind of tired of playing pirates.

Me too! I didn’t know much about Orlando. I’d watched Lord of the Rings, but I wasn’t especially drawn by Orlando as Legolas the Elf. I liked the Hobbits. Then Pirates came along, I loved it and Will. And that was when I discovered that both Orlando and Keira existed, and was actually when I became completely drawn by Johnny Depp. Now he’s like my fave actor!
And we’re not sure if Keira’s doing it or not, but if she doesn’t and Orlando does, then, yeah, she’ll have to die. They wouldn’t get another actress…would they? Ooh.

decides not to be in the movie, then Elizabeth AND Will will not be featured

No it does’nt.I sometimes watch that t.v. show the Waltons and close to the end they replaced the guy who played John-Boy with a dry and bland actor who really could’nt act at all.

I used to really like the movie Inspector Gadget, and in the second they replaced Matthew Broderick with someone who was not nearly as good. It was really hard for me to accept him as the same character.

Well put it like this I’m depressed.Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst said they would’nt return for Spiderman 4 if Sam Raimi did’nt direct it.And Sam Raimi may do the Hobbit.Well I’m already depressed over Peter Jackson not directing the Hobbit.And Kiera and Orlando said they were’nt doing Pirates 4.

But there is hope.New Line said they would like Peter Jackson to direct the Hobbit and he said he would like to direct it.And Sam Raimi said he wants to do not only Spiderman 4 but also Spiderman 5 and 6.So if he directs them then that means Tobey and Kirsten will return.And Orlando said he is thinking about doing Pirates 4 and Kiera I think she said she was reconsidering.

Peter Jackson better do the Hobbit, but I heard that there was a lot of issues
between him and New Line, and so I think that’s what’s causing the problems.
With Peter there, we can get Orlando, Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen, and others
from the LOTR cast to do the movie!

Well, they’re thinking about having Orlando come back as Thranduil,
Legolas’ father and king of Mirkwood, or having him be there in Mirkwood
as Legolas, but as a very small part because they’re trying to stay true to
the book as much as possible this time. And also, they would need Hugo
Weaving to come back as Elrond.

No disrespect to Klair or Felicity, OR Cindy, but i once read in an article interveiwing Kiera Knightly that she struggled with anorexia and that it runs
in her family. She said that she was working to fight it now but that it was a
big part of her life.
I also think Keira is a really cool person and in some ways would love to be
like her, but only in some ways…not as a whole
