See ppl get dejected when they don't get even one part of the book in the movie also how can u frame a more than 500 page book into a 1 & 1/2 hr movie tats not good .

I read on thesnitch.co.uk that the film with credits will be exactly 2 hrs. and 30 minutes long so it looks like it will be 2 hrs. and 18 minutes long without credits.Which is perfect,considering Spider-Man 3 is only 2 minutes longer.Harry Potter movie 5 will be the best movie of the year!

2 hours and 18 minutes is a good length timed movie. As long as the movie is exciting, cool, and something to look forward too, like it is on the previews,I really don't care how long the movie is. Harry Potter movie 5 will be the best movie yet, and I'll be the first one to see it !! I'm a HUGE Potter fan !!!

To all of you who are saying it is a good runtime. Have you read the book? It is over 500 pages long. Many parts of the story will be dropped, leaving us with the bare minimum. I say Warner Bros needs to stop being a pussy company and take a risk. They will probably loose more from having an extremely cut down movie than a long and complete movie.

Order of the Phoenix is by far my all time favorite book.And to be honest one of the things I did'nt like about the first two films were they were so long.And one of the things I love about the latest two is the fact their not too long nor too short.I don't care about seeing what Harry had for brekfast.As long as they bring the heart and spirit of the book this will be the best movie.

why is it that Chamber of Secrets was 161 min. long and Order of the Phoenix is 138 min. long !?!?!?!?!?!?! anyone wanna explain that !?!?!?!

To Gary.The length for Chamber of Secrets was with credits.Order of the Phoenix's length with credits is 150 minutes.

Dylan the last two Harry Potter films were just as long as the first one, not that much shorter than the second

1st 2 hrs. 33 min.
2 hrs. 41 min.
3rd 2 hrs. 22 min.
4th 2 hrs. 33 min.

The fourth film is 2 hrs. 37 min.

Also thesnitch.co.uk listed Order of the Phoenix runtime without credits 2 hrs. 18 min. but with credits 2 hrs. 30 min.For me that's a perfect length for the film.Spiderman 3 is 2 minutes longer without credits so that means good.Because Spiderman 3 was a little too long but when it comes down to Harry Potter that's perfect.

Ok, saying the book is over five hundred pages long is an understatment.
It is 870 freaking pages long. So they are going to make a movie that is
not even two and a half hours long. I say they pull a Stephen King and
make the movie into 2 or even three parts. True potter fans will not
mind.

Ps. grindhouse did bad not just because it was too long. It was one of
the dumbest movies i have ever seen.

Order of the Phoenix could easily be made into a 2 hrs. 18 min. movie.Something's may work for the book but seeing Harry eat breakfast is unnecessary for the film.

It needs to be at least 3 hours long to get all the small important parts in.
I also think the acting is getting worse and worse tbh

I'm sick of hearing people complain about what they cut.Harry Potter movies are long enough.Suck it up people,if you want a scene in the movie and it's not there then you have the book to read.They have NEVER cut anything that's serious and destroy's the film.Harry Potter GOF is my all time favorite movie and OOTP will be soon.

No actually kyle, the half blood prince is quite a bit shorter than the
order of the pheonix. So far ootp is the longest book. And from what
i hear, deathly hollows will be about 600 pages.

To Steven.Deathly Hallows will 784 pages long.

First off and far most the 5th book is the longest book by being 870 pages. The 6th book is much shorter and the seventh is shorter than the 5th even. this should make this movie the longest, the other movies have been lacking major points to make the series understandable in the movies. To have this being the shortest movie makes no sense by any means. Though we do not need to see every tiny detail we do need to see more then just major event s that dont flow together. If they dont put in the details they are going to leave the people confused especially for the last two movies that are to come. Arent these movies suppose to also inspire those to read the books that havent. Take it from me being a teacher the kids are not seeing the story as it was written because they are not being inspired to read the books they are only wanting to think they know all there is because they feel movies are suppose to be truer to the book.

It's not the shortest movie!It's the second shortest.It's 8 minutes longer than POA.And they have 11 clips from the movie on the internet.And it's AWESOME!So don't pre-judge.

but i just don't want it to be like the 4th movie. It was all action
jumbled together, it didn't flow and was not connected well.
ALSO, the 5th will be the shortest movie because POA was 142
minutes and the OOTP is 138 minutes- and that makes no sense
whatsoever.

Anna OOTP with credits is 150 minutes.138 minutes is without credits while POA is 130 minutes without credits.

Ohh, ok. I still didn't like the 4th movie. The 5th movie looks
awesome, but i hope it goes deeper than just showing the
action scenes. I was hoping for a 3 and a half hour movie, but
i guess the producers seem to think that cutting out the fun
stuff which they call "unimportant" is the right thing to do
EVEN though they know lots of people wouldn't like it. They
should've made 2 OOTP movies- one cut version for the people
who complain that movie is too long and one one complete
version for the true fans who would sit through five hours of
the movie. If people want to see an action film there are plenty
out their( don't get me wrong, i love action films) but they don't
have to turn this amazing book into a bunch of boring battles
after battles with no sense of reality in the story even though
this is a fiction book. What about quidditch?

I really did'nt care for Quidditch in the first 2 movies.But I liked it in the third movie because of the dementor attack.But anyway GOF and POA are in my top two all time favorite movies.You said something about action.Well if you look at GOF's story it contains alot of action sequences and that's what made the film so great.But POA and OOTP are more internal emotional storylines and that's what Dan Radcliffe said that GOF was more of a adventure while OOTP was more emotional.14 days to go!!!!!!!

The dentention scenes are in there.Have you seen the 11 clips from the film that's on youtube.If you have'nt it's AWESOME but it's in dubbed in german.But wait a few days they will have the english version on there.My favorite scene I saw was Lucius wearing the DE mask in the DOM while Harry is holding the prophecy.

Well the deluxe has a box to surround it and the painting on it is what's going to be on all the book.But the box is a slip case and if you slide the book out it has a brand new exclusive cover that surrounds it.And it has no writing on the jacket.And in the book it has yet another new painting.And here's what's really cool.You know at the beginning of each chapter it has a little picture,well at the end of the book they enlargen the picture.Cool huh.If you have'nt seen the exclusive cover art for the deluxe ten just go on google and type Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Deluxe Edition cover art.And it should take you to it.
