Above you can see the first photo of Sylvester Stallone in action as Rambo (via: JoBlo) in the upcoming sequel John Rambo. One thing is for sure, Rambo is looking his age. The film supposedly finds Rambo recruited by a group of Christian human rights missionaries to protect them against pirates, during a humanitarian aid deliver to the persecuted Karen people of Burma. After some of the missionaries are taken prisoner by sadistic Burmese soldiers, Rambo gets a second impossible job: to assemble a team of mercenaries to rescue the surviving relief workers. John Rambo will hit theaters in 2008.

Wow and I do mean wow. I can’t tell you how much I don’t want to see another Rambo flick. His time has come and gone, but I guess it’s the only way Mr. Stallone can get a movie made and not have it go straight-to-DVD. Seriously, though, who exactly is looking forward to this movie? No one I know (and I know a couple of diehard Rocky/Stallone fans).

I say cool. We are sorely lacking action heroes in our day and age. The Rock was coming close but Petes right…This new movie The Game Plan(Which I play 5 different extras in) looks like it may be Big Daddy 2… John Mclean is back, now Rambo… I say get Arny back in another flick and we’ll have the New Originals, Triple OG’s back in the theatre. Who do we have now people, I order you to tally. The guy from Crank? I say we push Ryan Reynolds to do more action!

Geez guys, you all take this Movie so seriously. Remember that it is only a
movie. Who cares if Sly is only trying to “Make Money”. I’m sure he has plenty
of it. At least he got as far as he did and he did it because people are
interested in seeing characters like John Rambo and Rocky. They represent everyman. The simple man. The underdog. Yeah, I’m a sly fan when it comes
to his underdog movies and I always will be. I love combat movies.
Always have and always will. You do what you do sly and I’ll definitely be there
to watch John Rambo. Firstin Line.

dude i’m frekin stoked about this movie. all of you idiots
that are sayin that it’ll be lame are about as dumb as rocks.
I loved Rocky Balboa and i’m sure that this will live up to that
one. sly is THE best action movie actor that has ever lived
and all of the action movies today freakin suck. This will be

ok man, if sly isn’t the best then who is? I cant think of anyone better.
I garuntee you that this will be a great movie and if you want to disagree
then go right ahead, but, if you dont like sly movies then there’s only one
explanation, you’re a homosexual! Now i will admit that some of his movies
are stupid (demolition man) but as far as it goes he’s the best. Rambo,
Rocky, Cliffhanger, Cobra, and there’s many more but i’m not gonna waist my
time typing them out. This will be great and you know it. So why dont you

plus the only good action movie made latley was 300. other than that they’re
all crap. fight club suckes and i just havent seen any good ones latley so let the
guys like sly and bruce who are actually good at it come on back even if they’re
old. it’s still better then the rest of the people today.

I can’t believe the amount of people debating the virtue of a movie.
Quotes ranging from he’s only here for the money are the most disturbing as if anyone alive today can’t see the basis for any movie making.
I really hope these people don’t believe E.T. is real.
It’s a movie, this like all others becomes an issue of subjectivity.
So please leave your comments to, I liked the movie, or I didn’t like the movie.
