Shia LaBeouf is all over the place now-a-days. First it’s rumored that he will play Harrison Ford’s son in Indiana Jones 4, big Hollywood trade Variety confirmed negotiations, and now we find out that it’s just a rumor?

“It’s nuts. It’s like these rumors are spiraling out of control. Look, there’s no deal on the table. If it was on the table, I would love to. It’s like a dream come true to be in that project, but it’s a rumor at this point. These things happen, but it’s wild that it was in Variety; it’s weird,” LaBeouf told IGN. “I’ve been through it before, though. I was rumored to be Jimmy Olson in Superman Returns. I’ve been through the rumor fallout thing before, so I’m not putting too much weight in it. You hope, of course. But is it solidified? No.”

Didn’t Variety check their sources? If we can’t trust them, who can we trust?

And as for a Constantine sequel, don’t bet on it.

“Wow, I didn’t think he would jump back on. Keanu went through a lot of sh*t with that movie,” Shia told SciFi. “I don’t know. I’ve not heard anything, so maybe it’s not [happening].”

  • Please make a Constantine 2. The first one was way cool.
  • William
I hope they do Constantine 2. That film was awesome!
  • Herman
I see this guy on every good movie? Why????????
He is so goofy, not like a heroe should be!!!
Why is he on Constantine, I Robot, Transformers, Indy 4??????
There is no young, good and smart looking guys on US to film movies??
Sorry, Shia, your style is more addecuate for a comedy as American pie than a movie with heroes.
Just think Lord of the Rings with this guy playing Frodo... is the only movie he's not.
    Regards!

I think he an exceptional actor. I think that the only way to make pt2 a success is to make sure that keanu signs on for the second.
  • Josh
Reeves should never have been in the first Constantine.
  • Futon
Hell yes, to a second Constantine film!

Keanu has done good box office in The Day The Earth Stood Still; Rachel Weisz got an Academy Award in the interim, so did Tilda Swinton, Djimon Hounsou got a nomination, and Francis Lawrence did well with I Am Legend. EVERYONE has stated that they'd love to do a second film and would be good to go.

Seriously, I don't know what they're waiting for, the cash isn't going to deposit itself in the execs' laps.

People who were against this in fandom on principle changed their minds, and people who at a stretch wouldn't watch this kind of film, did - and liked it. Not to mention that it grossed well domestic and foreign.

If it doesn't get made it's because of some movie exec office politics, NOT because the chips aren't in and the opportunity isn't there.
