Don’t get me wrong, I’m very excited for Spider-Man 3. But one thing has worried me recently - the Topher Grace Venom church transformation. Until now that has been the only footage we’ve seen of Venom. I was starting to believe that, well, that was IT - a cliffhanger ending with the fast dolly push into Venom’s face.
Well finally we have received more proof of a Venom/Spidey confrontation, which is very reassuring. As always, click on the photo for a high res version.
Very cool, but I still don’t think Venom looks realistic enough. And apparently Sony is also unsure. According to our friends over at Movie Marketing Madness, Sony has partnered with Veeker to solicit fan opinions about Venom. May-be they’re looking for ideas?

I’ve been saying this for a while. The CG is scaring the shit out of me. Everyone in the industry has just gotten too comfortable with the technology we have now, and are just congesting each frame with too much of it. It’s time for innovation I say.

Previews for Spidey 3 on theaters really prove to me that there is going to be a Spidey/Venom fight, there are several scenes where you see the two squaring off. I can’t wait and have May 4 circled on my calendar.

Venom and Spider man are two separate characters. Peter Parker never took on the alias, “Venom”. He was always spider man. Once the symbiotic suit found another person was the first time that they were called Venom.

Another die hard fan of SM but that CG comment which is first? Please, you’d rather prefer dolls on wires from 80’s or people glued on buildings? It is a great blockbuster and so far CG has done nothing to jinx it. I’d like to see dead mans chest without Cg … Nah seriously man, thats your problem!

where the hell did someone get this picture of venom its basically the first full image of him. he looks fuckin sic, but the only thing i have a problem with is that in the trailer at the end u see spiderman lying on a beam with the black webbing around his neck with half his mask torn off but in this picture he still has his full mask on?

Am I the only person disappointed at the fact venom is about HALF THE SIZE he should be in this movie? Why are you people ok with a venom the size of spider-man?

I think that maybe the symbiote will be very unstable. Perhaps Eddie is at first “in control” but as the battle escalates and he becomes frustrated the symbiote will finally overtake him and he will go full-blown venom.
And who cares what size venom is? Raimi once said that the second villian was supposed to be Electro or some BS like that.

The only answer I can think of is that the Directer or Writer wants a fast wiry Venom.

Who cares how big Venom is? I am sure they wanted him to look as realistic as possible. I read the Carnage is up in Spidey4 when it comes out and yes they are going to have a Spidey 4. To straighten out Nicholas, Venom is the name of the suit itself in one scenario there are 5 different stories as to how Venom was originated. Spidey #289 in the comic book Amazing Spider Man tells you exactly where the suit came from though. GO buy it!! LOL How do you know Venom’s size anyway? From the comic, the cartoon, which one? Or is it more that you PICTURED HIM taht much bigger? I am sure you don’t know his bicep circumference….I thought he was bigger too, but as long as he does what the CHARACTER was written to do who cares?

if you don’t want to be pissed at me don’t read what i have to say. The end fight of spiderman 3 starts when venom and sandman team up to destroy peter parker. Venom kidnaps mary jane and takes her their. Peter asks harry (GG2) to help he dosnt agree, but shows up later in the fight and helps peter. Sandman does not die but some part during the fight he reverts to his ultimate form and grows to 60 feet tall. After spiderman destroys him, venom and peter face off alone. Harry tries to protect MJ while spiderman is fighting venom. Peter loses his mask after it being destroyed, after venom drop kicks spiderman down to the ground, and then venom pins him to a wall, but before he can harry jumps in front of him and he ends up dying. Later eddie brock is killed, but the symbiote lives, this is a cliffhanger to spiderman 4, before harry dies he appologizes to peter and dies on beside peter and mary jane while they look to the sunset away in the distance.

i know now that there will be a spiderman 4, but tobey mguire says that he is not interested. I’m guessing the villains for spidey 4 are the lizard, and carnage. Because at the end of SM3 there is a cliffhanger, you see the symbiote leave brock so i’m guessing we’ll see it again later. in the comic books in can refer to is that eddie brock was a camio in amazing spidey 252 the first issue spidey had the black suit, later you find that brock was fired from the bugle because he had stolen peter parkers story and made it fake, he blames parker for his faliure and prays for his death at the church, after spiderman rips himself free of the suit venom is born. In the movie they change it, apparently spiderman finds his pictures of spiderman docked onto eddie brocks camera, he proved this to j,jona at the daily bugle and he gets brock fires, brock blames peter, and asks god to kill peter parker, after parker rips himself free of venom, it drops onto brock and he becomes venom. I think we can all expect great things from this upcoming movie.

That is weird that Topher Grace is Venom because he is like micro size to Eddie Brocke. Eddie is alot muscular and they need to get either someone more muscular or get the Eddie from Spiderman 1 back. All I’m sayin is that he is skinny. Y would they use him. I don’t mean to put topher down, but he’s a good actor and all they need to get someone else. Who is MUSCULAR.

I heard that the game is going to be better 4 wii. Though, I’m not quite sure. They said u can play as sandman, VENOM, AND HARRY. I like the swing features 4 SM2 though. I don’t like wat I saw for swing features. I can’t wait 4 the fight scene in the game between spidey and Venom. In the game when peter walks out a door, he notices Harry and then does a back flip and gets taken away.

If anyone knows their shit, Eddie was just a twirp like Peter, he didnt start packing on the muscle for quite sometime. Only after he combined with the symbiote did he start working out. The symbiote fueled his hate for Peter and thats where we get the stong, muscular Venom we all know and love.

becuz he had him on the bar and with a string and it was metal and then sandman was hitting him with his hands
