Pirates

Disney is holding Pirates of the Caribbean Ultimate Fan Events in 18 cities on Sunday March 18th. Basically, they are showing the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End trailer theatrically, a day before it’s television debut on Dancing with the Stars (March 19th, 8-10pm). The event will also include a screening of Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl as well as a “treasure trove of giveaways.” All fans will be encouraged to attend dressed as Pirates to win special prizes.

The San Francisco screening will feature over fifty professional pirates performing sword-fights and interacting with all in attendance. We also know of one other possible BIG surprise. You don’t want to miss this. Note: We are unsure of what surprises and events may be in store of the rest of the cities.

The participating cities include: Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, St. Louis, Washington, DC.

So if you want to win tickets, enter to win at Disney.com. Winners that come dressed in their finest pirates garb will be granted priority admission in each location.

It appears that the Pirates of the Caribbean Ultimate Fan Events is bogus, as they have provided invalid reservation email addresses (pirates3detroit@gmail.com) which prevents your entry from being accepted; and to further complicant the issue the subsidiaries/affiliates of ABC, Inc including the sponsor ABC, Inc. DBA/Buena Vista Pictures Marketing as well as Disney.com do not provide website technical support or direct contact information to resolve the issue. You are unable to contact them regarding the “NO SUCH USER” email provided. They only provide an endless string of FAQ which do not address such an issue.
If anyone is successful in submitting an entry I would really be interested in how they managed to do so.
    Have a wonderful week.
