X-Men: Apocalypse Deleted Scene: Cyclops' Visor

The following X-Men: Apocalypse deleted scene debuted online on Yahoo:

There isn't much to this scene, but its hard to understand why it was cut from the film. Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy aka Beast presents Scott with a solution for his uncontrollable powers, but the new student doesn't seem happy with the bulky look of the visor. Beast explains how the piece of tech is used and Summers seems ready to test it out. The scene is bookmarked with a joke that makes fun of the sometimes goofy names of the Marvel comics universe.

There are a bunch of deleted scenes that didn't make it into Bryan Singer's theatrical cut of X-Men: Apocalypse, some of which are included on the blu-ray release. We've talked about the 1980's mall scene, which features a trip to the arcade and more. It was a fun sequence that didn't add much value to the film plotwise. Other X-Men: Apocalypse deleted scenes include a reprise of Erik's Polish lullaby singsong in the forest, a scene where Jubilee uses her powers and a farewell between Scott and his brother Alex. The X-Men: Apocalypse blu-ray hits store shelves today, so you'll have a chance to see them for yourself.

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

The cast features James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Lucas Till as Havok, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Josh Helman as William Stryker, Lana Condor as Jubilee, and Ben Hardy as Angel.

The film is directed by Bryan Singer, based on a story by Singer, Simon Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris. The script was penned by Kinberg.
