This isn’t really a news story, just something to pass along that fans of Transformers might get a kick out of. Last time Shia LaBeouf talked about the quality level of the series, he admitted that the second film wasn’t quite up to snuff. “When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did,” LaBeouf said. “There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone…we got lost.”
At the time, LaBeouf promised the craziest action movie ever in Transformers 3. And now, with a chunk of the film in the can, the actor is again promising a more impressive achievement out of this chapter. Read More »

Glenn Morshower, best known as secret service agent Aaron Pierce on the fox television series 24, is set to return for Transformers 3. Morshower is one of director Michael Bay‘s favorite actors, and has appeared in both of the films thus far. Glenn appeared in the original movie as a military Sargent at the US Soccent, but was killed in the assault by Decepticon Blackout. He was asked to return for the sequel and his new role was named after him. In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Glenn played “General Morshower.” The actor’s official website confirms that he is playing a role in the new film, although his role is unknown at this time. I’m sure it’s military related.
Morshower has also appeared in Bay’s Pearl Harbor as RAdm. William F. ‘Bull’ Halsey Jr. and The Island as “Medical Courier.”
In May, it was reported that Firefly and Dollhouse star Alan Tudyk had joined the cast of Transformers 3, but details about his role were being kept under wraps. We now have details about what character Tudyk plays in the threequel, and don’t worry — it isn’t a spoiler. Details after the jump.

Cool Posts From Around the Web:
When USA Today confirmed that Transformers 3 would be released in 3D, I assumed that it meant that the film would be converted in post production.
Why would I assume that Michael Bay wouldn’t be shooting the film with 3D cameras? Well… Bay has said in the past that the 3D cameras are too heavy and cumbersome for the fast pace action scenes he shoots. Bay also likes shooting his movies on film, he loves the look of film — and the 3D technologies popular today are all High Definition video. Looks like I was wrong.
