Watch ‘Toy Story OF TERROR!’ Extended Clip

I almost feel bad for Toy Story OF TERROR!, at least today. The Pixar short has debuted an extended clip that will give you a good look at what the Halloween-themed story will deliver when it airs later this month. And that’s well and good. But today the short has to compete for attention with Guillermo del Toro’s excellent Halloween-themed opening for The Simpsons. Sure, they’re totally different things for (potentially) different audiences. But this is one time I wouldn’t want to be in Pixar’s shoes.

Still, this clip is cute and fun, especially with the input from Mr. Pricklepants. Watch it below. Read More »

Briefly: Carl Weathers voicing a Pixar character just feels right. The Rocky, Predator, Happy Gilmore and Arrested Development actor has always had a sense of humor, and he’s using that – as well as his action background – in Toy Story of Terror, the upcoming ABC Disney/Pixar short. Weathers is Combat Carl, a toy soldier who has been living at a haunted hotel. You can read more about his role here but, below, check out what he looks like along with five other new images from the show. Read More »

Is Pixar making Toy Story 4? It’s possible. But we now know they’re at least making a fourth Toy Story Toon, following in the steps of Hawaiian Vacation, Small Fry and Partysaurus Rex. The short is called Toy Story of Terror and will premiere on ABC this Halloween, making it Pixar’s first TV special. Check out the first image and read about the film below. Read More »

The Toy Story franchise may be done with feature films (for now), but Pixar has ensured that their mega-successful series lives on in other ways. Like on the small screen, for example. Rex (Wallace Shawn) got his day in the sun last month with the short Partysaurus Rex, which premiered in front of last month’s Finding Nemo 3D rerelease and is slated to make its television debut tonight. In addition, it now looks like the gang will reunite again for Toy Story of Terror, a TV special due out next year. Read more about both titles after the jump.
