Keanu Reeves signed on to star in the sci-fi thriller Replicas back in 2014. That was…*checks calendar*…four years ago, and the movie still hasn’t come out yet. Jeffrey Nachmanoff (Traitor) took over the director’s chair from original director Tanya Wexler (Hysteria), so that may have been part of the reason for the delay. The film finally debuted its first trailer last October with the promise that it would be released sometime in 2018, but things have been quiet ever since.
Now a new trailer has arrived – but weirdly, it’s being billed as an “official teaser” that’s almost 45 seconds shorter than the full trailer that dropped last year. What’s going on with this movie? Read More »

With Trick ‘r Treat and Krampus, director Michael Dougherty showcased a strong eye for casting cool actors in unexpected parts. And now, another name has been added to the cast: Thomas Middleditch, the hilarious, Emmy-nominated star of HBO’s Silicon Valley. And yes, he’s also the guy from those Verizon commercials.

In today’s edition of “Hey, do you want to feel old?”, we bring you the first trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, the big screen adaptation of author and illustrator Dav Pilkey‘s long-running children’s book series about a mean school principal hypnotized into thinking that he’s a superhero by two mischievous students. Silicon Valley returns for season four on April 23rd. Former Pied Piper CEO, Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch), is still a nervous wreck. After all these seasons, he’s probably been nervous for good reason. A lot goes wrong for Richard on this show. Sometimes conflicts are quickly wrapped up, maybe a little too quickly sometimes, but each episode seems to provide him with a whole mess of problems.
If the Silicon Valley season four teaser is any indication, he still has plenty of problems to solve.

If you’re an adult, your most highly anticipated superhero movies of 2017 probably include the hard-R Logan, the grim and gritty Justice League, maybe the playful Spider-Man: Homecoming if you’re feeling young at heart. But if you’re a small child, that list might be topped by Captain Underpants, an animated feature based on the long-running book series by Dav Pilkey.
Normally, it’d seem a bad sign for the film’s own director to describe his leading man as “sheer stupidity,” but in this case it’s a positive — we are, after all, talking about a superhero famous for running around in his underpants. A Captain Underpants first look photo has just been revealed, and you can click on through to check it out. Read More »
Last year The Final Girls came and went from theaters and VOD rather quickly, not giving it much time to find an audience. However, in the short time since its release, the film has started to become a cult favorite with midnight screenings popping up in various cities, some accompanied by drag shows, and others featuring director Todd Strauss-Schulson and some of the cast in attendance. Now fans in San Diego during Comic-Con will get a chance to partake in one of those events themselves.
The Final Girls will have a “secret” midnight screening on Saturday, July 23 at 11:59pm as well as a panel earlier in the day just a couple blocks from the convention center where all the action is happening. So if you’re a horror fan who isn’t pleased with the offerings inside the convention center itself, this is where you’ll want to be on Saturday. Get details on The Final Girls Comic-Con panel and screening after the jump. Read More »
