Last year, the Christmas romantic comedy Love Actually got a sequel in the form of a short film created in conjunction with the charity campaign Red Nose Day. And this year, they’re taking another beloved British romantic comedy and giving it a big reunion.
Four Weddings and a Funeral is a beloved 1994 romantic comedy written by Love Actually director Richard Curtis, who also happens to be the co-founder of Red Nose Day. Yesterday, NBC followed through with their latest tradition of an annual Red Nose Day special, a star-studded fundraiser that helps support projects in some of the neediest communities in the U.S. and some of the poorest communities in the world. All of your favorite stars turned out for this event last night including Elton John, Julia Roberts, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Jeff Goldblum, Margot Robbie and literally dozens more.
Not all of the fun from last night’s show is worth highlighting, but there were two segments that we just couldn’t pass up. One features the return of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele to TV sketch comedy while the other has Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln from The Walking Dead imagining their own Red Nose Day special akin to the Star Wars Holiday Special.

Not long after we saw Anna Kendrick star in a teaser for a female-led remake of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, we have some more amusing fun being teased for Red Nose Day. For those who don’t know, Red Nose Day is a comedy fundraiser that started in the United Kingdom and is making its way to the United States for the first time with a primetime special on NBC airing on Thursday, May 21st at 8pm Eastern. It’s a star-studded event featuring a slew of comedians, actors, musicians and more, and we just got another tease of something Game of Thrones fans will enjoy.
Peter Dinklage is teaming up with Coldplay to deliver a Game of Thrones musical, and NBC has unveiled a tease of the fan favorite actor singing a song about the various character deaths on the show.
