Nurse 3D Header

More than two years have passed since we caught our first glimpse at a sultry and bloody Paz De La Huerta in Nurse 3D. The production company released a poster before production even began, promising a 2012 release. Well it’s almost 2014 and there’s still been no sign of the film, directed by Douglas Aarniokoski. Until today.

A trailer for Nurse 3D is now online and features turns from Katrina Bowden, Corbin Bleu, Judd Nelson and even Kathleen Turner. It follows an obsessive nurse who starts killing people while skimpily dressed, and it opens February 7, 2014. Read More »

Stacy Keach is the latest actor added to the growing cast of Tony Gilroy‘s The Bourne Legacy, which stars Jeremy Renner as a new ultra-capable agent who emerges from the same training program that created Matt Damon’s Jason Bourne. Apparently, 3D and nudity go together like popcorn and soda. Just ask the team behind Sex and Zen 3D, a massive blockbuster from Hong Kong that uses sex to sell the third dimension. And while that film is supposed to hit North American shores at some point, Lionsgate is also embracing the concept…and dripping blood all over its naked body.

They’ve cast Paz De La Huerta, the regularly naked star of Enter the Void and Boardwalk Empire, in Nurse 3D, a pseudo-sensual horror film directed by Douglas Aarniokoski about an average nurse who spends her nights “targeting and punishing” evil men. So think Dexter with more breasts. The film stars shooting in September for a 2012 release but Lionsgate has released a concept photo that they say will “serve as a style guide and character inspiration for all stages of filmmaking.”
