The Flight Attendant season 2 is cleared for takeoff by HBO Max. The Kaley Cuoco show has been a big hit for the streaming service, so it makes sense that they want more. In the first season – which just wrapped – Cuoco played a flight attendant who wakes up in a hotel and finds a dead man in her bed. The show is based on the book of the same name by author Chris Bohjalian.

After more than a decade of playing the girl next door on the mega-popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco is taking to the skies in a new thriller series for HBO Max. In The Flight Attendant, she plays a hard-drinking flight attendant who flies to Thailand, lives it up with a handsome traveler (Game of Thrones‘ Michiel Huisman), blacks out, and then wakes up to discover that he’s been murdered. And that’s all in the first ten or so minutes.

Kevin Hart is angling to become the king of the January box office. His $41 million opening weekend for Ride Along earlier this year was the biggest ever for that month, and in fact was so impressive that a sequel has already been slotted for the same weekend in 2016. In between those is next year’s The Wedding Ringer, another buddy comedy.
This one stars Hart as a best man for hire who takes on one especially challenging client played by Josh Gad. Hijinks ensue, misunderstandings take place, and in the end, it’s safe to assume, lessons are learned about friendship, love, life, etc. Watch the new The Wedding Ringer trailer after the jump.
