Mini-Pufts Toys

The minute everyone laid eyes on the Mini-Pufts from the recently released Ghostbusters: Afterlife clip I’m fairly confident we all knew they would inevitably be turned into toys. They’re tiny, cute, and part of a major franchise, so obviously the powers-that-be want to cash in on that, and who can blame them? People are clearly going to want to eat these things up (but not literally, please – they’re made of plastic). And this fall, anyone who wants one will be able to buy their own Mini-Puft.

Ghostbusters Afterlife Clip

The first clip for Ghostbusters: Afterlife is here, and it’s…well, it’s questionable, at best. The clip features Paul Rudd‘s character encountering a gaggle of mini Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men in the supermarket. And for all the talk about how Afterlife is going to take the series back to its roots, the vibe here feels absolutely nothing like the original Ghostbusters. If anything, this feels more akin to a Minions sequel. Is that really what you’re going for, Ghostbusters: Afterlife? Watch the clip below.

Bill Murray Ghostbusters Afterlife

Audiences were originally supposed to see Ghostbusters: Afterlife in theaters last summer, but the coronavirus pandemic had different plans. The film is now finally slated for release this fall, and in a new interview, cast member (and original Ghostbusters star) Bill Murray had some nice things to say about the upcoming sequel. Namely, that it “really brings [the franchise] back to life,” and that it “has the feel of the first one” – two sentiments fans of the original movie will likely be very glad to hear. Read More »

Is Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Ghostbusters: Afterlife was unfortunately delayed yet again, this time moving back from a summer release to November 2021. That means we have almost an entire year before we get to see the sequel that picks up around 30 years after the events of the first two Ghostbusters movies.

The good news is it will be a reunion of many of the original Ghostbusters cast members…and there’s a chance one of the stars who was believed to be sitting this sequel out may actually make an appearance. Read More »

Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Ghostbusters: Afterlife was meant to be released last summer, but thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the movie was pushed back to March 2021, and delayed again to a summer release yet again in June. While we’re still waiting to see what the Ghostbusters sequel will bring to the table with a story set roughly 30 years after the events of the first two movies, director Jason Reitman may have already gotten all the praise he’ll need for the movie from his father, original franchise director Ivan Reitman. New LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1

Ghostbusters: Afterlife won’t be arriving in theaters until next summer – following two delays brought about by the coronavirus pandemic – but LEGO couldn’t wait to release a huge playset for the Ghostbusters franchise’s signature vehicle.

A new LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 set was revealed today, and it’s the biggest building brick version of the signature vehicle so far. Built on the same scale as the massive LEGO Batmobile from Tim Burton’s Batman movie, this new LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 is inspired by its appearance in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and it even includes some new details such as the gunner seat, a remote-controlled ghost trap, and a whole lot of rust.
