Rookie of the Year Remake

Another day, another beloved childhood movie from over two decades ago is getting a remake.

Rookie of the Year is a childhood favorite of plenty of kids who grew up in the early ’90s. The film followed Thomas Ian Nicholas as a young kid who breaks his arm after slipping on a baseball, only to have it heal with his tendons much tighter than they were before, giving him an incredible pitching arm. VOTD: Ghostbusters Return


“The Ghostbusters are back! And they’re sort of assholes.” This latest video by Funny or Die is directed by Ben Weinstein (cinematographer of Wet Hot American Summer) and features the sketch group Chubby Skinny Kids (Dan Gregor, Doug Mand & Adam Pally), a comedy trio originally from The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NY and now in Los Angeles.
