Zazie Beetz has confirmed that she will not return as Domino in “Deadpool 3” after her highly memorable appearance in “Deadpool 2.”

Beetz made the revelation at the Tribeca Film Festival during the red carpet premiere for her upcoming Max series “Full Circle,” which is directed by Steven Soderbergh.

On the red carpet, Decider asked Beetz if the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike was affecting the ability of star Ryan Reynolds to improvise on the set of “Deadpool 3.”

Beetz replied, “I'm actually not in ‘Deadpool 3,’ so I don't know what they're doing [about improvisation]. I'm assuming they're probably taking a pause. I'm excited to watch it.”

With Hugh Jackman, Matthew MacFadyen, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Brianna Hildebrand all on board, there may not have been room for Beetz’s Domino.

It's also possible that Domino's powers of manipulating reality to appear as the “luckiest” superhero alive didn't lend themselves to the story for the jam-packed “Deadpool 3.”
