Yes, That Voice In White Lotus Season 2 Is Exactly Who You Think It Is

We may not yet know exactly who died in the Season 2 premiere of “The White Lotus,” but audiences certainly saw Dominic get verbally murdered over the phone by his estranged wife. In an impressive demonstration of fury, Dom’s wife screams at length, and given the amount of rage and expletives heard, you might be surprised by who that voice belongs to.
The familiar voice on the other end of the line belonged to none other than “Big Little Lies” actor Laura Dern, which may be surprising for those who know Dern from her loveable roles in “Jurassic Park” and “Little Women.” In fact, this isn’t Dern’s first time working with “White Lotus” creator, Mike White, and in her past roles with him, Dern played a similarly unhinged character.
Dern and White worked together on the show “Enlightened,” which remains an undiscovered yet critically acclaimed hidden gem of the 2010s. In the show, Dern plays Amy, a businesswoman who has a breakdown on the job, so it makes sense that when White needed someone to eviscerate Dominic by voice alone, White turned to Dern to get the job done.
