Yellowstone Season 5: Everything We Know So Far
By VALERIE ETTENHOFER
Season 5 of "Yellowstone" will pick up from the previous season’s cliffhanger with Beth (Kelly Reilly) having blackmail material on Jamie (Wes Bentley) as she took photos of him disposing of his biological father’s body after he killed him. Jamie is in the running for Governor, but John (Kevin Costner) seems to be the better bet despite only running to prove a point to Jamie.
The fifth season will premiere on November 13, 2022 with a new episode dropping every Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Paramount Network and its streaming service, Paramount+. Unlike previous seasons, the 14 episodes will be split into two halves and there will probably be a bit of a wait in between.
As for the main cast, Costner, Bentley, Reilly, Cole Hauser, Gil Birmngham, Luke Grimes, and Kelsey Asbille all seem set to return. It has been reported that Wendy Moniz (Governor Perry), Moses Brings Plenty (Mo), Jennifer Landon (Teeter), and Kathryn Kelly (Emily) have been promoted to series regulars.
Supporting cast members set to return are Josh Lucas, Kylie Rogers, and Kyle Red Silverstein as the younger versions of John, Beth, and Rip respectively, as well as Jacki Weaver as businesswoman Caroline Warner. New faces include Kai Caster as a cowboy named Rowdy, Lainey Wilson as a musician named Abby, Lilli Kay as a Dutton family member's new assistant, and Dawn Olivieri as businesswoman Sarah.
