Why Does Darth Vader Trust Boba Fett So Much?

There are two villains who have stood a cut above the rest in the "Star Wars" universe for decades now, albeit for wildly different reasons: Darth Vader and Boba Fett. These two characters could not be more different and yet, they have mutual respect for each other and are inherently linked in many ways.
As many fans know Boba is an unaltered clone of the famed bounty hunter Jango Fett who was killed by the Jedi Mace Windu. Jango was also the DNA donor for all of the clones we saw throughout the “Clone Wars” including one cloning, in particular, Anakin’s friend Captain Rex whom he fought alongside for years.
This might make Darth Vader’s partnership with Boba Fett a possible point of nostalgia compounded by the fact they have a mutual hatred for the Jedi. It’s also likely the reason that Boba holds Vader in high regard is that he dispatched his father’s killer, Mace Windu.
There’s also no shortage of canon as to why this duo sticks together thanks to the “Vader” Marvel comics, where we get to see Boba hunt the rebel that destroyed the Death Star. Upon failing to capture Luke, he delivered the last name of the rebel to Vader, and it was at this point he learned he had a son and that Boba would keep that secret.
