Who Does David Boreanaz's Real-Life Father Play On Bones?

"Bones" star David Boreanaz’s father, Dave Roberts, worked as a local broadcaster in Philadelphia and has made two different cameos on
the show with his son.
Roberts is very well known in Philadelphia, as he was famously a weatherman on the evening news show "Action News." Roberts retired in 2009, but returned to the screen for "Bones."
Though Dave Roberts' first-ever appearance on "Bones" was uncredited, he still showed up in the show's 100th episode. In it, he simply uses a copier in the background of a scene.
Roberts returned for the finale of "Bones" with an incredibly on-brand cameo. After the Jeffersonian Institute is blown up, we see him as a newscaster reporting on the disaster.
