Where You've Seen The Midnight Club Cast Before
In Mike Flanagan's Netflix Shows
By VALERIE ETTENHOFER
Samantha Sloyan
Fans likely recall Samantha Sloyan being the formidable, puritanical Bev Keane, from Mike Flanagan's island-set vampire saga “Midnight Mass.” Seen here as Shasta, a friendly local alternative medicine expert, Sloyan’s performance carries an edge to it that makes her one of the season's most mysterious and intriguing characters.
Zach Gilford
Last seen as Riley, the traumatized and religiously cynical protagonist of "Midnight Mass,” Zach Gilford portrays Mark, the hospice home's nurse practitioner. When teenaged patient Spence worries about homophobia and his HIV diagnosis, Mark is there to provide both proper medical care and genuine human connection.
Annarah Symone
Annarah Symone’s current character is Sandra, a hyper-religious teen whose Christian beliefs make her hesitant to join in when her friends' late-night hangouts get quasi-occult. Symone last played Leeza in “Midnight Mass,” the disabled teen who suddenly stops needing to use a wheelchair when Father Paul offers her the eucharist.
Igby Rigney
Igby Rigney played Riley’s teen brother Warren in “Midnight Mass,” and is among the core cast of "The Midnight Club." Rigney is a solid performer with heightened appeal here as Kevin, the club member who quickly strikes up a rapport with Ilonka (Iman Benson) and who is dealing with the pressure of being seen as his family's golden boy.
Henry Thomas
Henry Thomas has played young Hugh Crain in “Hill House,” legal guardian Henry Wingrave in “Bly Manor,” and Riley’s dad, Ed, in “Midnight Mass.” For this show, the actor steps into the fun role of Freedom Jack, one of the sketchy, hippy-like hitchhikers Natsuki's protagonist picks up in the episode "Road to Nowhere."
