The “Ahsoka” episode, “Part Five: Shadow Warrior,” explores the heroine’s key “Clone Wars” moments and the relationship between her and her master, Anakin Skywalker.
One crucial moment Anakin is absent from is the Siege of Mandalore, the final arc of “The Clone Wars,” and the moment Ahsoka solidifies herself as an unconventional hero.
While Mandalore was intended to lure Anakin and Obi-Wan into Darth Maul’s trap, the two Jedi were instead called to the Battle of Coruscant to save Chancellor Sheev Palpatine.
This event was explored in “Episode III: Revenge of the Sith” and occurred concurrently with the Siege of Mandalore, before Order 66 and Anakin’s fall to the Dark Side.
