"Deadpool & Wolverine."
At the end of "Deadpool & Wolverine," the two title characters must stop a wicked villain named Cassandra Nova from activating a doomsday device.
To do so, Deadpool has to use his usually indestructible body to complete a current between two of the Time Ripper's live wires. This will vaporize him — and actually kill him.
Deadpool locks Wolverine outside the Time Ripper control room, then peers through a glass portal, apologizing for doing his act of nobility alone.
He puts his hand on the glass and comments that he is also Spock, "or perhaps Kirk," and spreads his fingers into the famous Vulcan salute often seen on "Star Trek."
This moment is just like the one in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," when Spock sacrifices himself to save the day in an act of noble heroism.
