The Star Wars Legacy Character That Andor's Diego Luna Can't Escape

Joining the “Star Wars” universe is a dream for many performers who grew up watching the films, though this may quickly be eclipsed by the fear of revealing any details about their projects. While one actor let slip a major spoiler for “Rogue One,” Diego Luna got himself into a different kind of trouble when trying to avoid revealing anything about the film’s connection to “A New Hope.”
Luna jokingly shared he’s always wanted to touch Jabba the Hutt, saying, “The texture of Jabba is something I need to discover,” which led to memes about the two going viral on the internet. During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Luna said, “It suddenly started to feel like I was in love with Jabba. It’s not, I’m sorry! I am not in love with Jabba. That was one big mistake I made.”
With Jabba's Palace reappearing in “The Mandalorian” and the events of “Andor” occurring before his death, there is a possibility for a cameo and a chance for the actor to touch the crime lord. However, Luna admitted the prospect was unlikely, adding, “I don’t think it’s happening, but I got over it. I’ve done so much fun stuff so far that I don’t need that anymore.”
