The Script For Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Had Yetide Badaki Panicking
By WITNEY SEIBOLD
Neera Ketoul (Yetide Badaki) is an interesting character in "Star Trek." She has made it her job to make civil rights cases — against the Federation.
Badaki knew that she would only play her character for one episode, but didn't realize until she was handed the script that she would have several speeches and monologues.
Badaki told ComicsBeat.net, "[T]here was a brief moment of panic when I realized how many lines I had, and how many speeches.”
“You want to do good by it because it's something that you've loved for so long. And also, wanting to give that experience to the fans, being one of them," Badaki added.
