The Pandemonium Movie Is Not Happening, Writers Say Vince McMahon Killed It

Directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra have long been attached to a Vince McMahon biopic, "Pandemonium," which gained momentum in 2017 amid rumors of Bradley Cooper starring as the gruff-voiced WWE businessman. However, after years of dormancy and McMahon's damaged public image, the project is now officially canceled.
In an interview with /Film's Vanessa Armstrong, Ficarra disclosed, "Pandemonium is dead, sadly," and Requa added that McMahon himself killed the project. Despite being a favorite project of the directors and having studio and actor support, McMahon's resistance became the primary hindrance to its development.
It's a shame the film won't happen, but even if McMahon had agreed, "Pandemonium" would have required WWE Studios' involvement and approval, which may have limited the project's authenticity. As for the directors, as Requa noted, they join a long list of people negatively affected by McMahon's decisions.
