The Only Surviving Stars Of WKRP In Cincinnati

Gary Sandy
Gary Sandy starred in "WKRP in Cincinnati" as straight man Andy Travis, the program director who was hired to keep the radio station afloat amid financial troubles.
Sandy told The Hamilton Spectator that he was later typecast in Hollywood. "I was pigeonholed," he said. "If there was ever a part for a guy in tight jeans and boots, I got it."
Since the show, Sandy performed on Broadway, His last on-screen role was in the 2004 TV movie "A Place Called Home," and per the Spectator, he's now retired and living in Kentucky.
Loni Anderson
Loni Anderson played the clever receptionist, Jennifer Marlowe, who helped keep the station running and was the frequent crush of everyone, on the show and off.
Anderson spoke of the role to Us Magazine, saying that "young women, especially, identified with [the idea that] you can be hot and also be the smartest person in the room."
After the show, Anderson worked in movies, TV dramas, and several game shows. She wrote a memoir, "My Life in High Heels," and fundraises for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

His most noteworthy post-"WKRP" TV roles were stints on "Designing Women," "Growing Pains," and "Berrenger's." Sanders appeared in several movies and even a video game.
As of 2007, Sanders lives in Woodinville, Washington. He told the Seattle Times about the sitcom's influence over popular music, and they played real music of the time.
