The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Season 2 Adds Eight New Cast Members
By JEREMY MATHAI
Less than a week after the first batch of new names was announced to join the sophomore effort of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” yet another group of actors has joined the cast in recurring roles. However, the details of what roles they will fill are locked up tighter than the Black Gates of Mordor.
The eight new additions to Season 2 are Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo, and Calam Lynch. Perhaps the most established name of the bunch, William Chubb has been seen in "Vampire Academy," "Empire of Light," and Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman."
This new crop of names will be joining the previously announced additions of Gabriel Akuwudike, Yasen 'Zates' Atour, Ben Daniels, Amelia Kenworthy, Nia Towle, and Nicholas Woodeson. It’s nice to see the creative team's continued laudable commitment to diversity and representation which has been evident since the show’s earliest stages of development.
