While “Extraction 2” is a surprisingly brutal film, one scene has left fans on social media mocking its absurdity — the hero taking cover from helicopter gunfire behind a ladder.

Logic in action films has always required the suspension of disbelief, but given ladders are mostly open space, it's baffling for Chris Hemsworth’s character to duck behind one.

Some fans have questioned this decision, with Twitter user @tadashi_ysd saying, “[please] tell me how you hide [from behind] a ladder from a helicopter shot.”

Others have embraced the absurdity, however, as user @mnrrntt commented on the scene’s silliness and later clarified, “Please, this isn't a dig. I f***ing love films like this.”
