The Flash Star Ezra Miller Enters Treatment and Issues Apology Following
Recent Events
By RYAN SCOTT
After a felony burglary charge in Vermont and two arrests in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and harassment, Ezra Miller has issued a statement with an apology for their behavior. Their statement has also raised speculations about the fate of the upcoming movie, “The Flash,” which has been up in the air due to the actor’s recent troubles.
Through their rep, the statement itself is attributed to Miller and reads as follows: "Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior.”
The statement concluded, “I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life." If Miller does indeed stay out of trouble, it appears Warner Bros. will release “The Flash” as scheduled on June 2, 2023, but Miller will likely be recast for any future iterations.
