The Cast Of Knives Out 3 Could Be A Clue To The Movie’s Mystery
By BJ COLANGELO
Rian Johnson is a well-documented Andrew Lloyd Webber fanboy, and thus far everyone he has cast for “Knives Out 3” can carry a tune.
He has already proclaimed via social media that the whodunit genre is very malleable so don’t be surprised if Johnson sets his murder mystery during a musical production.
Cailee Spaeny has been singing her entire life and Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, and Daniel Craig have shown off their pipes in the past.
Josh O'Connor hasn't done much professional singing, but one of his earliest roles was in a school production of the musical “Bugsy Malone.”
Andrew Scott said in multiple interviews that he'd want to star in a musical (but lacks confidence), so a film that allows multiple takes and editing could be the perfect place.
There's also Noah Segan who hasn't been officially cast, but he was in the Muppets' 1988 Play-Along Video release “Sing-Along, Dance-Along, Do-Along.”
This theory for the third installment of the “Knives Out” franchise might be outside the realm of possibility, but with so much musical talent in the cast, you never know.
