The Boys Season 3 Blooper Reel Is Just What The Butcher Ordered

“The Boys” reached new satirical heights in Season 3 and created a perfect blend of humor, depravity, and nihilism in every episode. The introduction of Jensen Ackles’ morally gray Soldier Boy set off a chain reaction of violence and comedy, and the release of the Season 3 gag reel proves just how funny the series can actually be.
Anthony Starr laughs gleefully in full Homelander costume, an odd sight for people who are used to seeing him play a character with such a psychopathic demeanor on the show. Starr and Ackles also joke around while filming their epic battle scene, keeping things light off-camera while they film an incredibly heavy moment from the series.
Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight, also appears, and she laughs so hard she loses her White Claw. Watching the stars break character in their superhero gear is an odd but charming sight, and it’s nice to know that the cast can keep morale high on set as “They Boys” continues to move in a dark direction toward Season 4.
