The Boys Scene That Made Chace Crawford Very Uncomfortable

Watching "The Boys" means stumbling down a deep, dark rabbit hole of debauchery and despair. The series is popular for its unapologetically nihilistic tone, but it has a tendency to get disturbing every now and then, and star Chace Crawford has admitted to needing a breather after filming a particularly disturbing moment.
“The Deep” (Crawford) is banished to Sandusky, Ohio after he’s found guilty of forcing Starlight (Erin Moriarty) to orally gratify him. While The Deep is in Sandusky, a fan sexually assaults him using the gills on his torso, and it was the production logistics that went behind giving Crawford the gills that caused him immense discomfort.
"I'm laying there, and I have my own fake torso on me with the gills that have a little bit more room, and he's behind me pumping them with these air pumps so they move, and the director is right over me. I'm like, 'Guys, I'm nauseous. Can I just get out of here?"' Crawford said, further explaining the reason behind his uneasiness.
