Sylvester Stallone Soothed An Anxious Sandra Bullock While Filming Demolition Man
By WITNEY SEIBOLD
In 1993, Sandra Bullock told the LA Times that she had been anxious about acting in “Demolition Man,” which featured a futuristic sex scene with her and Sylvester Stallone.
However, when Bullock first arrived on the set of the big sci-fi action film, her co-star Sylvester Stallone alleviated her anxieties with a surprising playful gesture.
Stallone shoved a ridiculous item up his nose, which humored and relaxed Bullock. She explained, “When I went in the first day and met Sly [...] he had golf tees up his nose.”
Stallone may have anticipated Bullock’s nervousness and used his sense of humor to help her relax. Regardless, it was considerate of him to make such a silly first impression.
