Star Wars: The Acolyte Revives An Underrated Aspect Of Attack Of The Clones

"Star Wars: The Acolyte" is finally giving us a "Star Wars" title with not just two but a whole bunch of lightsaber users. The trailer features an incredible shot of lightsabers igniting.
"The Acolyte" is set during the High Republic era of "Star Wars," a time of peace and prosperity for the Jedi Order. In it, a Jedi is acting like a private investigator.
The Jedi in "The Acolyte" are oblivious as to their real enemy: the Sith. This brings an underrated storyline from "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones" full circle.
At one point in "Attack of the Clones," Obi-Wan is a private eye investigating the attempted assassination of a senator and is oblivious to their real enemy — a Sith.
"The Acolyte" has the chance to provide context to the prequels and make the eventual fall of the Jedi Order all the more poignant because of the organization's hubris.
In addition, seeing a bunch of Jedi fighting together on screen is always a great time. "Star Wars: The Acolyte" will premiere on June 4, 2024, on Disney+.
