Star Trek: Enterprise’s Linda Park Never Got Her One Wish For Hoshi

On "Star Trek: Enterprise," the character of Ensign Hoshi Sato is played by actress Linda Park. Hoshi served as the communications officer on board the titular ship.
Park aired her grievances about her issues with Hoshi to StarTrek.com, noting she “would have liked to have seen was more personal interaction.”
“A lot of what Hoshi did in her side stories was very introverted and personal and isolated,” she added. Park hoped for deeper relationships with Captain Archer, and Trip Tucker.
"Star Trek" can tell deeply personal stories inside a fantastical, futuristic context. However, Park felt that Hoshi's stories were personal to the point of loneliness.
