Star Trek: Discovery Finally Explains David Cronenberg's Character

In the series finale of "Star Trek: Discovery," a significant revelation was made about David Cronenberg's character, Dr. Kovich, connecting the show back to its "Star Trek" roots.
Throughout his tenure on the series, Dr. Kovich has been a mysterious figure, frequently interacting with Captain Michael Burnham and posing as a cryptic ally in the 32nd Century.
However, it was disclosed in the finale that Kovich is his code name and his real name is Agent Daniels of the USS Enterprise ("and other places") from "Star Trek: Enterprise."
Agent Daniels in "Enterprise" was known for his temporal interventions and missions across time. His ability to manipulate time and cheat death were hallmarks of his character.
