Stan Lee's Deadpool & Wolverine Cameo, Explained

Sneaking Stan Lee into increasingly kooky and weird places was good practice. When Lee passed away in November of 2018, Marvel had to find a new way of honoring the tradition.
Thanks to decades of Lee's image becoming recognizable to MCU fans, the new Marvel movies don't have to work too hard to get in a Lee appearance.
"Deadpool & Wolverine" allows Lee to make two cameos. In one, the duo passes a city bus that has his grinning mug as part of an ad on the side of the bus for "Stanley Steemer.”
The real Stan turns up in person at the end of "Deadpool & Wolverine." Lee is part of a "Seinfeld" finale-style 20th Century Fox's Marvel films behind-the-scenes reel.
