She-Hulk Writer Confirms That's Charlie Cox's Daredevil In The Yellow Suit
By BEN F. SILVERIO
In the "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" trailer that was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, there is a character in a red and yellow suit who jumps over Jennifer Walters at the end and has Daredevil’s signature batons. In an interview, creator and head writer Jennifer Gao confirmed that the character is Charlie Cox’s Daredevil.
In the interview, Gao revealed that one of the challenges that the “She-Hulk” writers faced was the interconnected world of the MCU, often finding that when they wanted to use a character, they were not available. However, they had the good fortune of finding out that Charlie Cox would be available before he suited up for his "Daredevil: Born Again” series.
As the writing team had already experienced having to “scrap everything and start over,” they couldn’t believe it, and even while writing Daredevil into scenes, Gao said that they were waiting for the other shoe to drop for him as well. She said they thought, “‘Okay, any moment now they're going to tell us we can't use them. [...]’ But it just kept [becoming] more and more real. And it was so hard to keep that secret!”
